I have been watching a lot of Christmas movies lately. I should say romantic Christmas movies. I just love romantic Christmas movies. So far I have watched a few Hallmark movies:
Mrs. Miracle - A peppy older store clerk performs a Christmas miracle for her boss.
Holiday in Handcuffs - Mellisa Joan Hart goes temporarily insane and kidnaps Mario Lopez and brings him to spend Christmas with her family.
Moonlight and Mistletoe - Henry Winkler brings home a friendly man he meets at the airport in hopes that he will hit it off with his niece who is a single mom.
These movies are of course all kind of corny but adorable at the same time.
I have also watched:
Love Actually which is a movie that has lots of different story lines going all of course revolving around love and the holidays.
The Holiday: I love this movie. Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz need to escape from their lives so they trade homes for the holidays. Winslet's character stays at Cameron's home in Hollywood, CA and Cameron's character stays in Winslet's home in a small town in England. They meet up with Jack Black and Jude Law. I really love this movie, I watch it at least once a year.
I still have to watch some of the Classics. My favorite all time Christmas movie is White Christmas which I watched as a child and of course I have to watch some form of the Christmas Carol. These are both movies from my childhood. We used to have Christmas Eve at my Grandfather's house every year when I was a kid and my mom would always go over early to help out and of course I had to go with her. Every year the Christmas Carol would be on and I would watch it, even though I was terrified of the ghost of Christmas future. He is still pretty scary to me as an adult. LOL, especially in the older movies. I have yet been able to sit down and watch It's a Wonderful Life all the way through. I am usually cooking when it is on and can't really pay attention, I have seen the ending about a million times though. Then of course there is Miracle on 34th Street and the Grinch who Stole Christmas (the original cartoon version).
What Christmas movies have you watched or do you plan on watching?
