Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart continue to prove those "show-mance" rumors wrong, as the on-again couple is still together even after the highly anticipated Breaking Dawn-Part 2 premiere back in mid November. But they may be going to extreme measures to make their post-cheating scandal relationship work and to keep their romance on a stable, upward trajectory.
Life & Style apparently has sources close to Pattinson and Stewart who say that the two reconciled lovers are maintaining a "date diary," so they can make sure they're seeing enough of each other in the midst of their busy showbiz schedules.
Now that they're out of the Twilight zone and have left the Breaking Dawn red carpet fuss behind them, both stars won't be working so closely together on such a regular basis—or at all—as they pursue other non-vampire projects. So it's not so surprising that they might see the need to sync their iCals and figure out dating slots to avoid drifting apart. It's a common and problematic phenonemon among celebrity couples whose work commitments can easily tear them apart. Distance doesn't always make the heart grow fonder.
As well, Pattinson might still be dealing with some trust issues, as Stewart's infidelity probably shook him to the core. So regular check-ins may provide a sense of reassurance.
In fact, Kristen Stewart has recently been flying solo for a few On The Road engagements. And, as Entertainmentwise reminds, Robert Pattinson is reportedly heading to Australia to film The Rover in January. Of the British actor's extended stay down under, a so-called source said that he and Stewart are already "working on a schedule to see each other often. They're stronger than ever."
That said, could this highly scheduled, micromanaged approach take too much fun out of the romance? Hopefully the lack of sizzling spontaneity won't keep the sparks from continuing to fly.
