Donald Trump has been more than outspoken over the past few years about his feelings for President Obama and the New York Daily News is reporting that some close family members have recently called him out on it. NYC's own king of crazy reportedly met with Eric, Donald Jr. and Ivanka Trump to ask dear old dad to turn down the Obama bashing a notch. Trump's representatives have denied any meeting took place.
The Kids Are All Right
If this is true, then maybe the America has something to look forward to with the young heirs of the Trump fortune. After all, at least someone that likes Donald Trump is making an attempt to do the right thing. It's not always easy telling a family member or a friend they are making a fool out of themselves, especially when they can make or break your future with one phone call or swipe of a pen.
Still, some say this is just a power play on the part of the future leaders of the Trump Empire to protect their namesake company's image. But this is Donald Trump, he has always been outspoken on things, or as some would say, 'very passionate about what he believes in.'
The Bottom Line Is Hurting
But, this time Trump is experiencing some backlash from his four year long tirade against the president. Recently Macy's, a major retailer of Trump merchandise, came under attack for its ties to Donald Trump. During a crucial time for retailers, customers are now protesting the nearly century-old department store giant. Now, can Trump's kids use this latest protest to put a lid on dad?

I disagree. They should tell Donald Trump directly, repeatedly, and emphatically to stop being an obnoxious bigot. He is an embarrassment to them and he disgraces this country. All bigots disgrace this country and all honest Americans should not let the bigots get away with bigotry because we don't want to hurt the bigot's feelings.
I don't agree with Trump's political views at all, but it is very obvious that it is purely political.
David, it's all about maintaining the 20% Bush Era tax cuts he received in order to maintain his lifestyle of the rich and famous. It's all about him feeling that he is of the privileged class who shouldn't pay their fair share of taxes. It's all about filing bankruptcy multiple times at taxpayer expense.
It's all about being a 'rich socialist'.
Honest Republicans are honestly partisan. Being bigoted is not partisan, it's bigoted.
Throwing the word bigot onto anyone Anti-Obama is even more ignorant than being an actual bigot.
That would be true if that is what I was doing. But it isn't at all what I was doing. You simply created that straw man so you could avoid having the appearance of supporting someone who is bigoted.
But in fact Donald Trump has spent much of the last year pandering to the bigots in the tea party. Sorry you feel the need to ignore all of that because it forces you to admit your support for a bigot.
I don't agree with Trump's political views at all, but it is very obvious that it is purely political.
Honest people offer their political views honestly. Trump has pushed birther bigotry repeatedly. That makes him a bigot. Being a bigot for "purely political" reasons is still bigotry.
It's time to stop letting bigots get away with bigotry under the guise of "politics." I'm sorry that rather than stand up to bigotry you choose to enable it.
There are plenty of super-rich who fight for their perks without catering to the bigots. There is no excuse for bigotry.
These kids seem more like their mother, thank God.
Court records show Trump's monetary worth was estimated to be a little under $800,000,000.00 in 2009
I have other choices. Many other choices.
