Miranda Cosgrove, star of iCarly, the Nickelodeon show that made her a household name ended their run with a finale episode on November 23rd. Called iGoodbye, it left actors, staff and fans feeling some bittersweet nostalgia.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, iCarly's final show featured comedy and poignant goodbyes—huge parts of the show's long-running successful formula.
In the series, Carly Shay's dad is in the military. In the final episode she was very disappointed that he couldn't make it home for her father-daughter school dance. At the very last minute, however, dad swooped in and
attended the dance. But the dance wound up serving as a farewell bash of sorts, as Carly decides to leave with her dad and live in Italy with him instead of at home under the care of her big brother.
Did you catch the iCarly series finale on Friday? Are you sad to see Miranda Cosgrove give up her role as Carly Shay? Of course big things are in store for the actress. Some say she has college on her mind while others say she's working hard on a lucrative singing career.
