President Strangely Mute on Rocket Barrage of U.S. Ally
Perhaps he missed another intelligence briefing, perhaps not. Whatever the case, our president has been strangely mute in public while the radical leadership in Palestine (Hamas) has been firing hundreds of rockets on the population centers of our ally, Israel. What is stranger still is the mainstream press saying little about the president's obvious silence as it appears an invasion of Gaza, by Israeli forces, is imminent.
It is certain that this present catastrophe does not fit into the Administrations' Middle East playbook. What is apparent is that a YouTube video cannot be found that sparked this apparently spontaneous protest (translation: terrorist attack) against our closest ally in the Middle East. Imagine how Americans might feel if North Korea began firing a rocket barrage on the West Coast; if Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle came under a barrage of deadly missiles. Most likely such an occurrence would spark a military response from this country in defense of its citizens, but perhaps not under our current Administration's foreign policy.
What is clear is that Hamas has been stockpiling an arsenal of missiles, with the help of its neighbors, against Israel. And since the announcement of America's intended withdrawal from Afghanistan, terrorists no longer fear U.S. intervention in the region. Our president's silence merely confirms what the terrorists have been testing by killing American soldiers at random in Afghanistan and our ambassador in Libya: America is a paper tiger that no longer has any resolve or teeth in the Middle East.
Here is a typical news story from the inane-stream media:
Please pray for our allies in Israel.
