Day 11: Saving Money
From a young age my parents taught me the value of a dollar and I had a natural incentive to not spend money, but it save it. I prided myself from a young age of saving hundreds of dollars because there wasn’t anything I really needed. As an adult, the same factor holds true (hopefully I’m not too stingy, maybe I am at times?) I’m always looking for ways to save through couponing, shopping around and discount cards. Besides a dollar saved here could be used for new clothes, a cup of coffee with a friend…or student loans.
Day 12: Townhouse!
I officially signed a lease on a townhouse! I’ll be posting pictures of it in the near future and trust me, its pretty amazing! It has a very inviting/homely feel, its spacious, has two floors (it is a townhouse of course), its tucked away in the city, 5ish minutes from work, it has a harry potter closet, dishwasher, wash and dryer, two bedrooms and its pretty affordable (especially considering the city I live in). I’m allowed to move stuff in now and on Sunday I’ll officially move in!
Day 13: Sushi and other fishy things
By definition I’m a pescatarian. I just couldn’t give up on fish or anything under the sea. I was talking to a pastor once (who is also a pescatarian) and we both agreed that since Jesus ate fish, we should too. I decided to treat myself a little and went to a local Asian place and got some cheap but really good sushi (yes it does exist!) I could eat fish almost everyday and be a pretty happy girl.

Congrats on the new townhouse and that is great it is so close to work.
I cannot recall now who said it, however I am certain it was a multi-millionaire, that his parents taught him to spend only 1/3 of his money, save 1/3, and also give 1/3 to the people in need.
This is NOW FEATURED in . . .
You post it and we accept it!
