A report that Hope Solo has been assaulted by Jerramy Stevens has come out in Washington. Solo is reportedly engaged to be married to Stevens, who is a former tight end for the Seattle Seahawks. Apparently an incident has landed them both in court, though. There is very little information that has been confirmed at this time, but it is definitely a rumor that is picking up steam and heading around the Internet like wild fire.
SWX News, an affiliate of KHQ News in Spokane, has been updating on their Facebook feed as the news story breaks. This is one of the first instances where the news story has been confirmed, leading many Washington residents to wonder if there is a lot of truth to it. In the first message that SWX posted, they stated that, "sources say former Seahawks TE is in court for domestic violence. The victim? His FIANCEE Hope Solo!"
The first post from SWX was followed up with a second post that reads, "But wait... Chris Daniels at KING TV says the judge just found no probably cause that (Hope) Solo was assaulted by Jerramy Stevens. Strange story, friends."
It was very recently that it was discovered that the two were even together, but it could tie back to their days at the University of Washington. Solo played soccer for the Washington Huskies, while Stevens was a football player there. Stevens was then selected by the Seahawks in the NFL Draft, and Solo has had a lot of success playing soccer at the Olympics.
Consider this a breaking story with more information to come, but it really sounds like Jerramy Stevens has not gotten past the troubles that dogged him in college.
