10 dire consequences of Obama's re-election victory
Â
(NaturalNews) What does an Obama re-election mean for the next four years in America? Now that he's in his second and last term, of course, Obama no longer needs to restrain his actions according to popularity. He can simply unleash any desirable executive order and rule by decree, bypassing Congress as he has frequently promised to do.
This puts America in a very dangerous situation, given Obama's well-demonstrated desire to destroy freedom and liberty in this nation. Remember: Obama is anti health freedom, anti food freedom, anti GMO labeling, anti medical freedom and anti farm freedom. He's the one who issued an executive order claiming government ownership over all farms and farm equipment, in case you forgot that little fact.
He's also the guy who just recently issued an executive order merging Homeland Security with local corporate entities to grant the executive branch of government a power monopoly over the nation, bypassing the courts and Congress. You probably haven't even heard about that one, because he secretly signed it during Hurricane Sandy.
Given Obama's atrocious track record on freedom during his first four years in the White House, here are my top 10 predictions for the next four (if America even lasts that long before ripping itself apart):
#1) Huge expansion of TSA and the surveillance state
Watch for TSA to expand its occupation of America by setting up checkpoints on roadways, sporting events, malls and "surprise" locations. Expect to see TSA agents become even more belligerent and lawless as they ramp up their sexual molestation of innocent victims.
#2) Expansion of secret arrests of American citizens
Obama secretly signed the NDAA, legalizing the secret arrests of U.S. citizens while denying them due process. Obama also authorized secret "kill lists" that claim to authorize the U.S. government to assassinate targeted individuals.
With his re-election in place, expect Obama to start issuing a mass of "kill orders" that will even start targeting political opponents.
#3) Acceleration of national debt blowout and endless fiat currency creation
Under Obama, the national debt experienced a massive blowout where Obama added trillions of dollars to the existing debt: www.USdebtclock.org
Right now, Obama is overseeing a trillion dollars a year in additional debt -- an amount that simply cannot be sustained without running smack into a financial catastrophe. It now appears that financial collapse it going to occur under Obama, not Romney.
#4) Rapid expansion of GMOs and USDA collusion
Monsanto and the biotech corporations have thrived under the Obama administration thanks to USDA collusion and scientific fraud.
Over the next four years, expect GMOs to dominate the U.S. food supply while the Obama White House rejects any effort to try to label GMOs on a national basis.
#5) Increasingly dictatorial government health care
Obamacare will grow like a cancer, pushing Americans into mandatory vaccinations that inject children with mercury, formaldehyde, MSG and aluminum.
Look for the Obama administration to wage even more wars against raw milk freedom, farm freedom and food freedom, all while requiring yet more foods to be pasteurized or fumigated under the guise of "food safety."
#6) Immediate surge in sales of guns and ammo
Obama has promised to try to destroy the Second Amendment and deny Americans the liberty to own firearms. With his re-election, expect to see a massive surge in gun sales as more people attempt to stock up in anticipation of gun bans (or government gun confiscation).
#7) Accelerated erosion of the Bill of Rights and civil liberties
Under Obama, civil rights, human rights and the Bill of Rights will be rapidly eroded. This goes hand in hand with the cancerous growth of government. As government expands its power and confiscates more economic resources, it simultaneously destroys individual liberties and due process.
This isn't to say that Romney would have been any better, of course. Both candidates were philosophically invested in the rapid expansion of Big Government.
#8) Continued destruction and looting of the U.S. economy
Under Obama, the financial looting of the U.S. economy by the global bankster elite will continue. The same would have been true with Romney, by the way.
Under Obama, America's unemployment rate will continue to head skyward, entitlements will be expanded, and the USA will be plunged into a tyrannical welfare state dominated by mindless zombies who have no cognitive grasp of reality.
#9) A "giant sucking sound" of employers leaving America
Ross Perot was right! That "giant sucking sound" is the sound of employers leaving America in droves, hiring offshore workers instead of creating jobs in the USA. And why? Because employers can't afford to pay Obamacare mandates and still stay competitive in the global marketplace.
#10) Stepped-up attacks on veterans and preppers
Returning U.S. veterans will continue to be vilified by the Obama administration, to the point where even more veterans will be arrested as "terrorists" for engaging in fundamental preparedness strategies such as storing food, water, medicine and ammo.
Watch for the liberal media to join the White House in painting veterans as "dangerous" individuals needing psychiatric medications. Never mind the fact that the media owes preppers a huge apology in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Since, by nature the government cannot create or produce wealth, it has only two ways to secure money: 1 create more fake (fiat) money or 2 increase taxes
Inflation is the hidden tax and why it is indeed a tax on the poor as well as the middle class and the rich. We are able to buy less goods with those dollars.
High wages do not lead to prosperity either; prosperity leads to high wages. Wages are a byproduct of production; when production increases, so do wages because they represent a increase in value to the economy. At least Romney UNDERSTOOD THAT!
Anyone who believes consumption drives the economy to accrue as much debt and consume as much as possible, regardless of your level of production, and see how long your home economy lasts. Consumption removed from production leads to nothing but bankruptcy and insolvency. The government produces NOTHING!
Have I ever written in a comment on one of your posts or one of your comments that "big money rules"? So what makes you think any of my ideas were applied by this Administration?
Oh, yes. Now I remember. You don't pay attention to what I actually write. You have this image of me which doesn't actually match my point of view at all and it's that stereotype of me that you listen to. Sorry.
"Wow, I thought the conspiracy theories of this magnitude would at least wait a few days or weeks to start."
You demonstrate an incredible amount of amnesia and/or dishonesty, to me, since this "conspiracy theory" has been widely spoken of and substantiated for years, including on this site, including posts you have participated in. It is inconceivable to me that you didn't notice.
Hyper-bigotry, is what I think I'm looking at, to be honest. A person that is so utterly intolerant of beliefs that differ from their own, that they literally purge them from their mind, and treat those who hold those beliefs as though they are not even worthy of being considered real human beings with minds of their own. Something to be mocked and treated as if subhuman for not accepting what you accept . . No counter arguments or rational explanations needed, they just don't believe as you do, so they are illegitimate and worthy of "othering" by default.
Umm, interesting assertion but not exactly fact based. Unless I missed something, government is a major player in the economy. In a stagnant economy where unemployment is high and business has no incentive to expand output, government spending can indeed goose the economy. WWII is a fine example of what government can do for the economy. Admittedly a large scale war isn't what anyone would like to see.
Government definitely creates jobs and wealth. It's not federal employees I'm talking about. It's the people who make the stuff the government buys. Like any large business or non-profit the government buys huge amounts of things like office supplies, motor vehicles, etc. It rents commercial real estate. It hires contractors to build stuff. A surprising amount of tax dollars go directly back into the economy, even in good times when nobody's talking about stimulating the economy.
You have to understand that all those things the Corps of Engineers (Army) built and maintain don't actually exist. The interstate highway system isn't real. Those municipal water works don't really provide anything. Even the Weather Bureau is a fraud because we don't really need weather. You see, it's all in how you look at things. :-)
Did I mention education?
You're right. If I didn't have so much education I would have known that. Blast that education, anyway. :-)
"WWII is a fine example of what government can do for the economy."
Do you actually believe that building lots of tanks and battleships is good for the economy? That devoting much labor and resources to things that do not produce anything useful is a big plus for a society? How could that possibly be? It's nonsensical on it's face . .
(from the Wiki)
"The post–World War II economic expansion, also known as the postwar economic boom, the long boom, and the Golden Age of Capitalism, was a period of economic prosperity in the mid-20th century, which occurred mainly in western countries following the end of World War II in 1945."
"Dating the period
Political economist Roger Middleton states that economic historians generally agree on 1950 as the start date for the golden age[3]–while Lord Skidelsky states 1951 is the most recognized start date.[4] Both Skidelsky and Middleton have 1973 as the generally recognized end date, though sometimes the golden age is considered to have ended as early as 1970."
What do you know that those guys don't, Nip? Why are you placing WWII within that "golden age" essentially, while they, and the numbers, seem to place it outside that time of real prosperity and growth of productive (real) wealth?
"Admittedly a large scale war isn't what anyone would like to see."
Well, why not just devote all those resources to building tanks and submarines and bombers, and we can become super wealthy and prosperous, and just park the stuff somewhere out in the desert, while we build more? The whole war thing is not needed, one would think, just the making of the stuff of war, right, Mr. Einstein? ; )
Well, John, it certainly kept Krupp from acquiring Chrysler in a hostile takeover.
"Even the Weather Bureau is a fraud because we don't really need weather."
Strange as this may sound, the Weather Bureau doesn't actually make weather . .
Could anyone run a household with out producing money to do so? You produce by working and earning a living, NOT by going to your neighbor's and stealing food from them.
The govt. produces nothing - earns nothing. They decide they know what is best for us by spending our money WE earned by producing.
The federal govt needs out of our business and to mind their own Constitutional business.
States have their own Constitutions and we participate, each in our own state. We know what is best for our state, not the govt.
Pay for a bridge or school in our own state, no problem. Volunteer locally, no problem. Charity in our community, no problem. Most states joined the union for protection, as spelled out there. States did NOT give up their sovereignty yet the Fed. govt continues to tell us what we can do.
They need to get out of the way and let each state handle their own problems, and if we have a 'Sandy' hit our state, our neighbors will assist as they are doing in NY. The unions need knocked down to the same level as ALL working people - they have outlived their usefulness.
Nippy, and all, IF the federal govt let us keep our OWN tax money, we could decide how it should be used in the state. They are not god, they don't live in our state. They steal it and use it for political purposes - remember the bridge to no where? Remember the air port/landing strip build and uses only for one Senator? There are dozens of these examples.
Tell me one product the govt produces - product. I supply ie cleaning service, someone pays me for that service, and we have an exchange. They get the service, I get paid.
It's just a euphemism to say the AcE built and maintains much of anything . . Like saying that such and such a President created such and such number of jobs. The Corps did not produce the concrete and steel, the cranes and bulldozers and trucks, the food the workers ate, the clothing they wore, or the educational institutions their engineers were taught engineering in, etc, etc, etc.
The Government plays a role in something, and Walla! people imagine that they made everything and everyone that is involved . . and without the Mighty Government pseudo entity, everyone would have just wandered around aimlessly, starving and naked and uneducated, waiting for the Mighty Government psuedo entity to create all things wonderful and useful.
It's silliness, I say, just child-like imaginings that take the place of actual understanding of how things come to be, how things are actually produced. It's like thinking that because the Government has Department of Agriculture, that issues food stamps, then the Government grew the food, and made the tractors, and trucks and stores and shelving and grocery bags the food is taken home in . . No, they don't, they don't even make the freaking food stamps for cryin' out loud.
What was the top tax rate for the highest incomes during that "golden age"?
Perhaps if we repaired, maintained, and built lots of infrastructure that would both increase our capital but also boost the economy and create lots of jobs. Sort of like building the early parts of the interstate highway system.
You wrote:
"Strange as this may sound, the Weather Bureau doesn't actually make weather."
But it was only a week or so ago that there were posts right here on Gather telling me that Obama caused Sandy. Are you sure the government doesn't make the weather? :-)
You do understand, don't you, that the graduates of the Service Academies have engineering degrees. So the government did educate those engineers.
It's really stupid to say that General motors makes cars and the govenrment makes nothing. Use the same criteria and the government makes things every bit as much as General Motors makes cars and trucks.
Perhaps so, Larry, but instead the Mighty Government pseudo entity has pissed away many trillions of tax payer dollars (mostly to hyper-wealthy banker/financier types, and.or war profiteers, apparently), including about 16 trillion we haven't even earned yet . . and the infrastructure is pretty much crumbling. At what point do you at least begin to question the idea that the Mighty Government pseudo entity is our only hope of saving ourselves from what the Mighty Government pseudo entity was supposedly saving us from all along?
I agree that buying all that military hardware was wasting the money and we also increased the numbers in the bankers profit lines.
Don't you actually read what I write? What am I famous on gather for? "Big money rules." "My system has no taxes at all and no government spending at all." "My system has almost no government except military and police." So where do you get off saying "At what point do you at least begin to question the idea that the Mighty Government pseudo entity is our only hope of saving ourselves from what the Mighty Government pseudo entity was supposedly saving us from all along?"?
Come on. At least accuse me of something I actually did or wrote. Don't make up straw men, hang a "Larry" sign on them, and claim they are me.
Sheesh!
Yeah, that dingy idea that empowering the Government to control all wealth through a great big centralized computer system/buerocracy, will naturally work out just great, because you say so. A magical silver bullet solution . . so what?
I see. It's a reading comprehension problem on your part. Sorry I brought it up. Goodbye.
Try not judging what is real or possible, by observing what the corporate mass media talking heads roll their eyes at, I suggest. Try actually researching things for yourself, using this handy dandy Internet thingy, before it's totally controlled by our wonderful overlords of regulation and secrecy. Or at least stop mocking those who have bothered to do so, in a show of your blind faith in the people that claim you have no rights at all, that they don't give you, in their infinite wisdom, wuv, and generosity.
No wonder Romney was mad at Obama for having Jeeps made in China. Look how bad the weather they make is. :-)
2) The Stimulus Bill Creates Higher Taxes
3) The REAL Solution is to Increase Production
The crippling lie that consumer spending drives the economy permeates our thinking. Bush authorized stimulus checks in the hopes that we would spend the money to boost the economy. How well does that work in your home economy?
Here's the logic: When you experience hard times financially, the way to get out of them is to increase your spending and consumption. Yes, it really is that insane. The cure is the disease.
Our bust was brought on by an artificially-induced boom - through inflationary policies - and now we're trying to solve the problem with more of the problem.
It is catching up and will make the fall harder.
The road to prosperity is through honest production, not increased consumption.
"BUT", say the central planners, "we are increasing production by creating new jobs." IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for the government to 'create' jobs. All it can do is transfer - through force - jobs that would have been created naturally by producers and entrepreneurs in the free market. The government can only TAKE money from producers and redistribute - not produce - wealth.
The government makes far different decisions in the marketplace versus entrepreneurs. They operate according to a completely different rules. Why? Because they don't have to deal with failure. They have access to unlimited funds. INCOMPETENCE AND INEFFICIENCY are relatively unimportant.
Steven D. Palmer, Uncommon Sense - A Common Citizen's Guide to Rebuilding America.
1) More government spending leads to greater production.
2) The stimulus bill INCLUDED reducing taxes. There are no higher taxes on ordinary incomes (less than $250,000 per year) in the stimulus bill.
3) The real solution is to change the nature of our money. All other "solutions" just "kick the can down the road."
Consumer spending drives the economy. You can look it up. When you cut spending there is less demand which produces lower prices which reduces profits which reduces spending. We've seen that before in the Great Depression. When a single family experiences hard times they try to get work to increase income. They try to produce more. When government spending is reduced, that reduces production.
Inflation does not reduce production unless it becomes extreme. See the inflation between 1950 and 1980 in the U.S. otherwise known as the "golden age."
You mean all those jobs building weapons for the military don't exist? What about all those jobs building guns for private citizens? Do they exist? What's the difference?
Entrepreneurs sell goods and services to the government.
You are completely wrong about government employees not having to deal with failure. You are completely wrong about government employees having unlimited funds. Clearly you never worked for any government agency such as the fire department.
Credit cards allow for people to spend money they don't have, but with Trillions in credit card debt, still didn't move the economy. But just with our government, there WILL come a day when the debt must be paid, and like with credit cards, the interest will far surpass any initial charges.
No one will adopt your monetary proposition because the govt. and the people are too dumb to understand and/or execute. Besides, the govt. benefits from their own fiat system. They have lots of paper and lots of ink...
Thanks. Many would not grant me that right.
The big money interests used the crisis to justify grabbing still more money from the government they control. The money went to the already rich, not to the poor. Thus the "failed" stimulus.
There will NEVER come a day when the debt must be paid. That's one way governments are different from citizens. (You will note that big corporations don't have to pay either. AIG for example.)
Linda, the government is as dumb as the big money controllers. They are just short sighted. Your knowledge of my system is lacking so I don't hold your opinion of it against you.
What you should do, Larry, is pull ALL your money out of the stock market, 401k IRA or whatever, and invest in physical gold and silver - but make sure you bury it so it's not stolen.
Do you realize that big money interests also have really serious problems that stem from the nature of our money? When enough of those interests realize what they can gain from the change they will support my system. The problem for me is to get them to understand the reality of their choices.
The gold standard not only would not solve any of our problems including inflation but it is impossible for industrialized nations. Currency would continue to be paper and that paper money would depend on faith that there was any gold at all to back it up. When an ounce of gold is worth over $1500 you really can't conduct much business using gold coins. Also, the weight of gold in the world is not sufficient to provide the billions of dollars our economy requires.
Burying gold is a great way to lose gold. You should check on the archeology of Europe. One of the most useful finds is buried gold coins since they show the date and who minted them. There have been many hundreds of them found so far. They didn't do their owners much good, did they. My investments are diverse.
Romney wouldn't have done our country any better though, at least in my opinion.
There was not a lesser of 2 evils in this election, which is very sad. Also sad how many were kept in the dark on their other choices of candidates.
It is one big party and they just change leaders, every now and then to keep us divided. Just follow the votes. Our representatives do NOT represent us - they represent the Replicrats, they support corporatism, they support taxing more and spending more.
Just think about it, if we had an unending source of money, and the power to keep it that way, why would we change?
Another important difference is Romney loves this country but Obama hates it.
Romney supports private charity but Obama supports entitlement from OUR tax dollars.
He should have gone after the Ron Paul supporters instead of dismissing them as if our principles weren't important. We had a lot to offer but supporters of big government didn't want to listen. MAY have cost him the election...
By the way, I didn't dislike Romney for being rich. I just think he had a very limited vision, no real plan, and wasn't prepared to take over as President.
1. Free loaders
2. Lazy young kids now
3. Want a check, just don't want to work
4. Want us to pay for their tuition (Liberal ART????) To do WHAT with our money??? College is not for education now, just an expensive SPA resort!
5. Many women want EQUAL PAY... then maybe then they could do the SAME AMOUNT of work, reckon?
6. Love to screw? BUY their OWN birth control pills, they sure wouldn't pay for my VIAGRA!
7. Liberal VOTERS are STUPID to the core!
This could go on all day & night!
I'm curious what support you have for the assertions in either clause of the above sentence.
Hmm, my health plan covers both.
BTW, I would like a nice new car to ride around in, would you like to chip in for that?
Oh, and Michelle, 'for ONCE in my life I am proud of America'. Does that tell you up until that point, she likewise hated America?
And since when does the President of the U.S. BOW to foreign leaders, over and over? And since when does the President of the U.S. support silincing our rights to free speech, ie the guy now serving one year in jail for producing a 'video' which was offensive to Muslims. What about his right to free speech?
Democrats made sure our military didn't vote, even though they said otherwise. FL threw out all the military voters while they were serving in harms way in foreign lands. 89% of the supported Romney AFTER Ron Paul was out of the race.
Were YOU a VETERAN??? I AM! You are so full of shit you're so ignorant!
Amanda is right, the Dems are not Reps and the Reps are now Dems - it's all a dog and pony show for the sheeple.
No REAL issues as if our Freedom and personal responsibility were ignored.
At the same time, I am hoping that four years from now, the third party candidates can step up and become more and more vocal, and seen. I enjoyed watching them and hearing them speak, and appreciated MSNBC for at least acknowledging they had something to say that needed to be heard. No matter what you think of that network, Lawrence O'Donnell was very supportive of people voting for a third party candidate.
......that statement deserved repeating Denise......seems you are one of the few intellectuals around here.....oh.....don't let me leave out "honest"
.......something that Obama lacks you fill the void on .......HONESTY
But, I'll give it to Romeny, he tried to stay on HIS message instead of telling jokes and mimicking what Obama said. Obama thinks he's a comedian - a rock star - an idol (dare I say a 'king'?) And Obama traveled on OUR taxpayer money!
How many thousands/millions of abortions did you participate in Lori F. ???
BTW, when can women schedule their free mammogram at Planned Parenthood?
You left out #11, Linda:
Plague of locusts.
(I voted Justice Party for Pres. & Veep.)
You need to re-read your comments before you post so they aren't offensive. Mine may be when I am pushed so far... It is not my intent.
I raise awareness of serious issues that are not adequately or rationally addressed by our two big political parties.
Funding & voting for third parties that have much more rationalist positions also leads the changes I see as advisable.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
-Margaret Mead
According to what they told me they thought about my vote, I couldn't help but want to ask how they felt about voting for a candidate that I told them never had a chance anyway. So I don't at all feel as though I have thrown away my vote now, but I wonder how people who voted for Romney with that mindset of "anyone but Obama" don't feel now as though they've thrown their vote away.
Kennedy was killed because, with Executive Orders, he was changing the nature of our monetary system - against big govt. and big money.
If you remember Dennis, NO Democrat voted for the Civil Right Bill - the Kennedy's wanted to show their support for equal rights but definitely NOT the reason he was killed. The 'official' investigation of Kennedy assination was based of govt. propaganda, not facts. Kept a film secret for over 25 years which clearly shows he was shot from the front. Clearly show the Secret Service left the side of his car, as directed by immediate supervisor. Film shows it all.

No one is going to eliminate Obama because he has ALL like-minded people surrounding him and controlling him.
You forgot about Reagan's attempted assignation - it had to do with sound (different) monetary policy as well. He was never the same after than and many think he may have had Alzheimer's as a deliberate result of medication delivered during his recovery.
Think about it Dennis, today we are talking in the Trillions instead of Billions and what people will do to keep the stats-quo.
Almost forgot another important feature, religion. Throughout history, the clergy used to wield so much power over the population that all the tyrant needed was to simply get the clergy's cooperation, (which was very easy) however the United States is now much too secular for that to happen.
