There are two major issues the first and more important with most of the people is Civil Rights, while the second and extremely important with the wealthy is the Economy in the USA.
The news media in many cases just has ignored the Civil Rights issue and only dwelled on the Economy issue, as that’s where the wealth of the country is at.
Therefore, which is more important to the people that live in the United States of America? Civil Rights of course, has always been more important than the economy for the people of the United States of America, we fought a Civil war on that very same issue in the past. When it comes down to the Civil Rights of the people that live here we really don’t give a damn about the economy.

PS: The Civil War was over economics. It was justified before, during, and after as civil rights. But the real reasons for the fight were all about wealth and money.

RichB ~ the right wingers are saying the economy is in a recession. But as you know the unemployment rate is 5.6% here in Minnesota, and much lower in Iowa, North & South Dakota. Mass transit is in full capacity and the big stores are reporting huge sales.
Remember last year when auto dealers were showing endless commercials on TV in which they were having "fire sales" of unsold inventory? They couldn't sell their cars so they drastically reduced their prices. Do you see those same commercials here today? No you don't because people are back at work and they are buying new cars. Property values have gone up as well.
Thus, all the hate and division is being caused by right wing liars. The recession is over here in the Upper Midwest and is likely that way all throughout the USA.
If the Republicans even came close to those three I most likely would have voted for them.
The employment in the Northern states is actually just fine. The Southern States are the ones with that problem just like Greece. What is it with those Southern states, are they just a bunch of lazy bums.
