Cameron Diaz reportedly hit on Robert Pattinson big time at a recent party. Apparently Diaz went after Kristen Stewart's newly regained boyfriend in a major way. However, even though the Bad Teacher star was all over him like the proverbial cheap suit, the Twilight heart-throb proved immune to her efforts. That's very admirable of Rob. But, what will Kristen Stewart say? Especially since RPattz reportedly delights in making her jealous by singing the praises of his soon-to-be costar Carey Mulligan?
When RPattz and Diaz were thrown together at LACMA's October 27 Art & Film Gala, La Diaz reportedly came on pretty strong. According to eyewitnesses, she was "trying really hard to flirt with Rob," and "she was pretty obvious." While seated next to the Breaking Dawn star at dinner, Cameron could hardly control herself. She kept "was touching him arm, doing her big Cameron laugh at everything he said and trying really hard." As for RPattz's reaction, sources report that "he was polite, but not having it."
Ouch. Poor Cameron. Oh well, she'll find someone else. The real question is: what will Rob's newly reconciled lady-love say abut this one? Rumor has it she's already feeling depressed and insecure about his possible attraction to his soon-to-be Hold On To Me costar, Carey Mulligan. And Mulligan's not even beautiful. On the other hand, even if her Cosmopolis man had responded to Cameron Diaz's flirtations, what could Kristen possibly say? After all, she did have that big time "Oopsies!" moment with Rupert Sanders.
Sometimes, KStew, you just have to shut up and let things go.
