Although I enjoy meeting some people when I knock on doors, time is getting short and about half the people who answer the door have already voted. So today I will probably just leave the postcards under the mats, which is not quite as good as talking to people. I also have less encounters with unfriendly dogs that way, too. I actually got bit one day when a screen door wasn't locked and the dog ran out as I approached. Now I hope my husband is ready to go. Had I not been waiting for him to come with me, I'd probably be half through by now.

When we had the Serbian festival last July, I came down with Phlebitis in my right leg two days before the festival. Fortunately the hotel had a wheelchair I could borrow. The folks at the festival were more than helpful.
It's actually a much safer place with all the Serbs around. They don't tolerate crap. Wish more lived in Guelph. My neihbour wouldn't have gotten away with half the crap the cops wouldn't deal with.

A story that took place in Bosnia, told by a Serbian friend of ours now living in South America, and also a fellow Gather member, and one of the main characters in the story turned up driving a taxi in Niagara Falls! :) What are the odds?
