On Dancing with the Stars this week, the all-stars teams will go a little bit country for their DWTS performances this week. Although this is not exactly a typical ballroom theme, apparently these hoofers are going along for the ride by being very enthusiastic about the concept.
Consider Gilles Marini, who apparently will be garbed in a rhinestone vest and a set of chaps when he takes to the floor boards. Talk about snazzy. Then there's Derek Hough, who is said to have been talking in a Southern accent while preparing to perform. Hopefully, he'll have something to say tonight that will show viewers how good or bad he has been able to mimic this particular American dialect.
That said, while Gilles and Peta were originally set to perform to the Kenny Chesney song called She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy, this pair is now set to perform to the Shania Twain hit called Man! I Feel Like a Woman. Should be interesting to watch and see what these two pull off and should be a good way to open the show since their cha cha will be the first one to debut on Monday's program in this fifth week of DWTS.
Meanwhile Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke are said to be dancing last on Monday. Their song is the Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers classic called Islands in the Stream. This number should be a sweet tune to hear while watching these two get their Foxtrot on. While doing so there's a good chance their push toward the top of the leaderboard will continue for a pair of dancers who really are terrific competitors.
So what do you think? Will these particular Dancing with the Stars All-Stars couples do well enough to make a huge impression on the judges as well as the voting public tonight? Will either/or cement their chances to continue with the show and go on to possibly own that coveted mirror ball trophy? Stay tuned for DWTS on 10/29/2012 to see.
