Honey Boo Boo 'chuncky'?

Honey Boo Boo "chunky"? Children and their weight is a disturbing trend. Honey Boo Boo is real? I did not know. I kept hearing about Honey Boo Boo, but I never guessed she was a seven-year-old beauty queen.

Honey Boo Boo on her weight is even more disturbing. What kind of child at age seven even knows what she weighs? TLC has decided to renew Honey Boo Boo's contract and do several more shows and holiday specials.

Is there a reason I am not aware that anyone would watch the exploitation of a seven-year-old child. It reminds me of the little Ramsey girl in Colorado. When do kids get to be kids anymore?

Shame on her parents, and shame on TLC! I have nine beautiful grandchildren, but I don't ever post their images on the Internet because of fear of exploitation. I would love to show everyone how beautiful they are, but it is wrong. As for Honey Boo on her weight give that kid a break and let her make sand castles.

I can't imagine raising a child to be that. Somehow I can't see how her lifestyle will be healthy in the long run.

Is she the little girl they were feeding a mix of Red Bull and Mt. Dew to amp her up for kiddy beauty contests? I think her parents - mother - is nuts!

I have never even wanted to watch that show. The child is a brat and the parents are not parenting her at all! Instead of being given a television show they should be turned into CPS and that child should be put into a family that will teach her some manners!

I never knew what a "Honey Boo Boo" was either, Carol. I finally did curious enough to do a Google search. What a sad story. I would have thought that after the Ramsey case people would have wised up about how horrible those pageants are.

In today's world, I think the child should be aware (how could she not be any way) that she's over weight. And rather than putting her in beauty shows, the parents should be making sure she doesn't have a health problem, then enrolling her in exercise programs and sports.
