Changing Child Care Next Week

I was able to discuss the after-school child care options with my husband, and we have decided to switch Kyleigh to the public program. I accepted the enrollment and submitted the paperwork. I visited the classrooms and met with the teachers. It seems very similar to the current day care. They have 2 classrooms doing different art and craft projects, and Kyleigh can decide which room she wants to be in (based on which project she's more interested in doing). She also has an option to go out and play in the gym (but knowing her, I don't think she'd be interested). The teachers seemed pretty nice. I think she'll have a fun time there.

I also timed the route, and basically if I leave the office by 5:55 PM then I'd be there in good time (6:11 PM). This should be pretty constant because it's all neighborhood back roads and there won't be any unexpected traffic.

My current day care was also nice enough to let me out of there without enforcing the normal 2-week notice requirement. So this week is our last week and Kyleigh can start next Monday. If it all works out, this will put an extra $70 per week back in my bank account!
