Kate Gosselin Prepares Eight Kids for Picture Day

Kate Gosselin is always up for a challenge, and it's a really good thing too. She got eight kids ready for picture days at school on Monday, and that's no small challenge!

According to Twitter, Kate says she feels like she's her own hairdresser after getting all the girls in her brood picture-perfect.

"School picture day here means.... Straightening FIVE girls hair at wee hours in the morning...I'm my own hair salon!#momsrock," she tweeted.

Can you imagine getting eight children ready for school pictures? Even worse, can you imagine how much it must cost to buy all of those school pictures--even if choosing the least expensive option for each one?

The former Kate Plus Eight star may drive some people crazy, but it's clear she's up against some challenges that many will never face. Doing everything in multiples has to have its definite perils, but it seems she pulls them off successfully most of the time.

What's the most children you've prepared for school picture day at the same time? Can you even begin to compete with Kate Gosselin?

Where should I begin. Hair straightening, not difficult especially when the girls hair is straight to begin with. Getting them dressed again not a big deal since they are all old enough to dress themselves. Maybe the boys Easter clothes fit them by now so she probably just stuck them in those. I'm not saying that raising 8 kids isn't difficult but Kate always over dramatizes everything and makes even mundane things into a major task and then she's "totally exhausted" Most of us just do what we have to do because it's part of raising kids and don't require our egos to constantly be stroked and told what a super mom we are. I come from a family of 9 and thank God my mother never acted like Kate.

ITA. Most moms (like mine, a mother of 5) just got on with it. As did all of the mother of large families that I've ever known. None of this need to get constant attention and sympathy.
Kate shouldn't be worried about the cost. She's a multimillionaire who has gotten so many freebies over the years that she can easily afford picture packages. If it is a worry, she could always volunteer to be a parent helper on photo day, since most companies comped packages to the parents who help.

Kate's tweeting false drama again. I doubt she did anything to help get the kids ready for school. Nannies do it all. Besides, what prep for pictures was needed? The kids wear uniforms to school and they already have straight hair. They ride a bus for one hour to get to their school. By the time they arrive, any 'picture prep' will be undone. And, Kate can well afford 8 picture packages. She's already tried to grift them, I'm sure.

Why not wash & straighten hair the night before? It would be so much more time efficient to do 'touch ups' the morning of, IMO. Like everyone is saying, their hair is pretty darn straight already.
Jeez, all I wanted for picture day at age 8 was a hugely ginormous bow. Of course, it was the 80s.

What's the most children I've prepared for picture day? 24. I worked in a classroom and prepped all the kids, not just the girls. Oh, and I had to do it again for the afternoon class. Eight would be a walk in the park.

LOL! I was a teacher as well. Not only that...I now work in the school picture industry. Yesterday, I got 405 kids ready for photos and photographed them.
8 IS a walk in the park. ;-)
