The creation of this surreal digital art piece went pretty smoothly. Whereas some of my pieces require revisiting and fine tuning over a month or more, this piece flowed and matured easily over a mere week's worth of time. A Delphic temple tweaked toward a more modern range of experience. Crafted as a 17 x 11 inch print at 200 dpi, this 3 x 2 inch copy is shared for your hopeful enjoyment.
"Get To Know You"

Have you ever really looked at your hand?
I mean really up close and personal
All the lines and the ridges
The nooks and the crannies
The valleys and crevasses
Have you ever really looked at your hand
Have you smelled it
Licked it
Listened to it
To every intricate aspect
With every fiber of your being
Epideral and muscular
Skeletal and cellular
Capillary and neural
A miraculous concert of applicability
At the bidding of your director's mind
Have you ever really looked at your hand?
This close-up of the entrance is presented at 100% scale.

Best Wishes To All

Thanks :-)
Thanks, A.F.
The day we actually discovered our thumb
Such an easy life we had in the trees
Eating fruit and flowers
And jumping so far
Now we work hard
And cannot jump so far
Was it an error?
To discover our thumb.
I like your picture.
Best To You
It should now be found in your group.

Featured at The Surreal Circus.
Thanks, Carol :-)
... and thanks for the feature.
The entrance is beautifully rendered. It seems to be a sort of temple to the body, even though it's made of humble bricks. I can't quite figure out the angel figures, though.
Is the one hanging from the nose pointing out the miraculous nature of the hand? What about the swallow-people in flight above?
And the figure in white; a being of spiritual good whose pointing toward the miraculous hangs right under our nose.
In full size view, you can see that the swallow-people above have human-like heads with dark circle glasses over their eyes; bats from the belfry circling like vultures around the mind's awareness.
Whimsical, with an undertone of seriousness. I am so glad you got that.

Love the picture. Doncha just love digital art? I do.
My hand knows me
We share the rest of this body
I know my hand
My hand knows me
The older I get,
the more my hand
does what it wants,
as it lets me know
I just ain't the boss
of my old hand................

I hope you will have the time to visit the other spotlighted posts as well.
Have a wonderful day!
it is like, you the maestro are giving a one man play and philosophical treateese
there must be something in palm reading, seeing ones future in the hand...and seems that you have a host of interested spirits wanting to see or share...very metaphysical and intriguing...Kudoes
