Kristen Stewart has experienced no shortage of tense times since the news broke of her cheating scandal, ripping to shreds her relationship with Robert Pattinson—and her image. The actress has seemingly come a long way in a short time since that Rupert Sanders mistake; she looked better than ever at the On the Road premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and, according to rumors, she and Pattinson are well on their way to a reconciliation. But her awkward, tomboy side has reared its clumsy head during a few recent interviews, in which Stewart made some pretty embarrassing comments that unintentionally and indirectly could have been quite suggestive in light of her infidelity.
"Definitely crammed in a car..." Such were the ironic and ill-timed words uttered by Stewart in response to a rather silly question about whether she prefers traveling by auto or plane. Of course, the scandalous photos or her and Sanders were in a car. Enough said!
Stewart also alluded to her more risk-taking, adventurous side—one that would perhaps test its luck and cheat on her longtime boyfriend—when she told InStyle magazine, "I want to explore Mexico or head to a remote island and lie naked on the beach. But it had better be a very secluded strip." As Kate Middleton's topless photos have proven, though, no amount of privacy or seclusion could seemingly keep away the shutterbugs. Stewart may want to reconsider her travel plans—unless she wants more photo drama.
One of the biggest offenders in the lineup of gauche Kristen Stewart quotes, compiled by Hollywood Life, regards another director besides Snow White and the Huntsman's Rupert Sanders; one whom the starlet was also quite taken with. "He puts so much inside of you," she gushed to MTV News about On The Road's Walter Salles. "Once we got on set it was so about just breathing and letting it happen... So it was like, 'Okay, so I have to take my clothes off?' It's so not a big [deal]." She obviously was just expressing how inspirational and influential a director can be; but the timing and her choice of words may have not been the best given her current position.
Not that Robert Pattinson hasn't had his own fair share of awkward moments since his girlfriend's affair. When he was promoting Cosmopolis, he had to skirt the issue of the status of his feelings and his relationship with Stewart more than once. He even resorted to talking about the number of calories in his favorite breakfast cereal—Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
