The parents of three-year-old Renna Williams have been charged with neglect in connection to her "accidental drowning" death from last month. The little girl was allowed to wander without supervision, which led to her being found dead later in a canal near her family's home. In this earlier Gather News article, it was revealed that the mother of this poor child didn't want to report her missing in the first place—when she was probably dead all along.

Jenna Danish, 33, and Thomas Jay Williams, 42, were charged on Friday with child neglect resulting in death. This is extremely fitting for the parents, who habitually let the child wander the area. Did they not expect for something bad to happen at some point? At only three years old, Renna Williams was barely old enough to communicate, much less walk freely for large distances. Yet her parents found it okay to allow her to leave their property on her own to wander around the area as if she were 10 years older.
Unfortunately Renna (also reported as Reena Mae Williams) didn't live a full and happy life and it was because of the neglect of her parents. Here's to hoping a conviction comes of these charges and justice is delivered upon those who allowed that little girl to die. Shame on them.
