Missing baby Gabriel will most likely never be found, but it's well established by now that his mother used him as a pawn in a game against his father -- to the point that it may have been fatal for him. Her trial is expected to last for several weeks, but already the prosecution has done an excellent job of painting a picture of a selfish, anger-driven woman.
The father of missing baby Gabriel will take the stand on Monday to testify. No doubt he will mention the conversation he had once had with Elizabeth Johnson; she told him she murdered the boy and threw him in a garbage can. His body has never been recovered.
Some are worried that Elizabeth Johnson won't receive a fair trial due to the overwhelming national coverage the boy's disappearance garnered, but does she really deserve it? There is more than enough evidence against her in this case that the jury will most likely not even consider the media coverage of this case. This isn't like the Casey Anthony trial at all -- not by a longshot.
