Actually they acted so normal, wolves are such shy creatures, all of them waited for the Alpha wolf to take the 1st step. The best news is that they are all neutered and spayed now, no more senseless breeding. I'm so glad they have this sactuary to live out their lives in.

Poor babies. They look so unsure of themselves. I can only imagine how disoriented they must feel. But nature has a way of overcoming that and it's good that it's only temporary. Thanks for sharing.

I don't think its your PC, I've been having trouble all nite tryin to get videos to load, this morning I had no problems. Sometimes it seems like Gather gets overloaded with too many members on at once.

I'd love to get a cam that cam to video at night, it does look kinda kool. I saw another video that showed how these wolves reacted when offered their first meal at the sanctuary, poor babies were really scared. I just don't get why people are so cruel sometimes.

That sounded odd, didn't it. I just read more about what they went through before they were rescued. None of these wolves had ever set foot on real dirt, they'd been kept in concrete dog runs with very little space to move. At least the rest of their lives will be so much better. Those people really are dedicated.

I know, I find it hard to believe anyone could be so cruel, then I thank God for those that rescued them from the awful fate that was waiting for them. My faith in people is finally being restored.

I've been looking for some, but they must be really busy right now. Last I heard they are building another enclosure and then they need more funds to retrieve the fencing the original owner is giving them, which means another trip to Iowa. The people at WSWS are trying to educate people, especially children, about wolves and why we should NOT try to make them pets. They are not domestic and never will be. The saddest part for them is knowing their rescues can never be set free.

So unsettled right now, but I'm sure they'll adapt just fine. I can't imagine being torn from my home and moved elsewhere. Sad that it has to be that way...

Yeah, its sad. But the bright side is now they have a large enclosure and will get regular meals. The best part is that they are all neutered and spayed so no more cubs will be born into this tragic situation. I am a firm believer that wolves should always be in the wild, it breaks my heart when I realize these sacturaries are needed because some fool wanted to make money selling wolf cubs to people as pets.
