A new ten-part exposé of President Obama proves he has a shady and secretive past that he has tried desperately to keep covered. The four-month long investigation by The Washington Examiner called "The Obama You Don't Know" reports on matters like Obama's claims he grew up poor in Hawaii and Indonesia when, in fact, he lived in one of Indonesia's most affluent neighborhoods. That's just the beginning of the lies the president has told the public. Why has the most powerful man in the world lied so much about his past? It appears, at least in part, that he wanted to relate to the black community. Since he was never really a part of it, he began to add snippets of things he must have thought would align him to the community. However, his true allegiance was to himself.
As much as some people would like to hold Obama totally responsible for his interesting background, some of the false claims came from other sources. For instance, Time magazine gave a glowing stretch of a report about his tenure at Harvard, "Within a few years, he had become a rock-star professor with hordes of devoted students." The report says that the magazine must have been talking about his first 23 percent of the students said they would repeat Obama's racism class. He was the third-lowest-ranked lecturer at the law school that year. And in 2003, only a third of the student evaluators recommended his classes. They added that he only did what was minimally required and almost never participated in faculty activities. This part (Chapter 2) of the report might explain why so few alumni remember Obama from Columbia. Maybe he spent little time socializing as he did at Harvard?
He once defended a slumlord in Chicago who was charged with not supplying heat and running water to fifteen cruddy apartments when it was as cold as 11 degrees outside. Obama got the guy off with just a $50 fine! "Only then did Obama tell the court of the forcible removal of tenants in the bitter cold," the report says. A lawyer told The Examiner that fines like that were fairly normal at the time. The lawyer works for the city and wants to stay anonymous out of fear of reprisal. Chapter 5 goes on to some shocking allegations from leftists who knew President Obama 'back then'. They claim that he wasn't really concerned so much with helping blacks as helping himself. The late Robert Fitch said, "What we see is that the Chicago core of the Obama coalition is made up of blacks who've moved up by moving poor blacks out of the community."
Chapter 9, titled 'The Arab-American Network Behind Obama', talks about unbelievable kickbacks and back door deals. Truly, it's enough of a shocker for the entire report! Detractors that believe the president was born in Kenya, think he is Muslim, gay, etcetera can do themselves a favor by reading the entire report. At least then they can do an honest review of the man they want to lead the country. Looking at his history as a senator in Illinois, reading about his callous voting record on the treatment of newborn abortion survivors...looking at things that are indisputable facts and not just remote possibilities.
The Washington Examiner's executive editor, Mark Tapscott quotes "Throw Them All Out," by Peter Schweizer, "In the Obama economic stimulus program's Department of Energy loans, companies owned and run by Obama contributors and friends, like Solyndra's George Kaiser, received $16.4 billion. Those not linked to the president got only $4.1 billion." He points out that the Energy Department isn't the only federal program that was shown preference. Tapscott sums up the report by saying, "...beyond the spin and the polls, a starkly different picture emerges. It is a portrait of a man quite unlike his image, not a visionary reformer but rather a classic Chicago machine pol who thrives on rewarding himself and his friends with the spoils of public office, and who uses his position to punish his enemies."
