Erin Moran, former star of the hit show Happy Days, is reportedly homeless. The 51-year-old moves from hotel to hotel since getting thrown out of her mother-in-law's trailer. What happened to little Joanie Cunningham for things to turn out this way?
According to a report from Radar Online, Moran played Richie Cunningham's (played by Ron Howard) little sister in Happy Days and was known for her bubbly attitude and sweet demeanor. She and her husband, who works at Walmart, lost their own home and moved in with his mother at an Indiana trailer park.
For a while Erin worked as her mother-in-law's helper--cooking, cleaning and helping the woman with her daily personal hygiene, but before long the elderly woman grew tired of her daughter-in-law's behavior.
"Erin was a huge help at first, but then Steve's mom got fed up with Erin's nonstop partying and told her to hit the road," a source says. "She was going out and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve's mom just couldn't take it anymore, so she told Erin to leave."
Erin and hubby Steve Fleischmann moved into a local hotel, but were thrown out because of her belligerent behavior.
"On several occasions the hotel management warned Erin to curb her unruly behavior, but they finally had enough of her temper and demanded that she immediately leave the property," the source says.
Since then they've bounced from motel to motel, but that will end soon when her $65,000 settlement she received in a network lawsuit runs out.
How can it happen that a bright young actress--once known for making so many people smile--turns out to be homeless? What brought on the partying and destructive ways?

It's a far-cry from Joanie Cunningham of the Happy Days era--isn't it? Hopefully the former actress can get some help before she and her husband are completely homeless.
