Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
I just read this verse in a devotional I do by Joyce Meyer. It was an eye opener so to speak... an ahhhhaaaaa moment.
We are not to only talk to God and expect Him to get us through the trials and tribulations and diseases and bad situations we are in, we are to trust Him as we go through these. We are to take whatever situation we are going through and let God guide us and let Him have the reigns and us just go along for the ride, trusting and following Him.
That sounds easier said than done , right? Yup! but it is a learning process that we have to learn in order to be drawn closer to God.
