Kristen Stewart doesn't want any future roles that suck the soul out of her. Is this part of her new lease on life in light of Robert Pattinson's forgiveness or something she decided upon when she engaged in life-altering behavior with Rupert Sanders?
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Kristen said in a recent interview that she's far more interested in roles that are artistic and meaningful, more than those that guarantee she'll rake in big bucks for their success.
The Breaking Dawn Part 2 star has been in the limelight even more for cheating on Robert Pattinson than for her career successes. Maybe this has given her time to focus on what's really important versus what isn't. She's been offered lots of options since filming for the Twilight series wrapped, but says she's also been quite discerning about what kinds of roles or other opportunities she'll accept.
"I would never work with people who aren't really creative and aren't committed to what they do," she explains. "Unfortunately, there are a lot of those people out there, they are f***ing everywhere, and they try to suck the soul out of you. For example, I would never do a makeup campaign, even though the [final] photos with me would probably look good. Thank you, but it doesn't interest me."
That sounds like the old Kristen Stewart--doesn't it? It's reminiscent of the Kristen who doesn't hide from the press out of shame and embarrassment.
Hopefully Kristen's choices in future roles leaves plenty of personal time so she and Robert Pattinson can work at renewing their relationship. Rumor has it he's forgiven her and the two will soon live together in L.A. once again. It will likely be a smart move if Kristen sticks to small, meaningful roles that don't suck the soul out of her, because she no doubt has some personal soul-searching left to do.
