John Ingle was amazing as a teacher and actor. Many of us have watched him over the years and some were very lucky to be a student in one of his classes. He retired from teaching and became an actor. I know him best as Edward Quartermaine and he was on last week looking really sick. He had cancer and only did a few lines that were quite moving.
He passed away at 84 sadly his wife passed away earlier this year in February. They were married a long time.
Some of his other roles Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210, Days Of Our Lives, Big Love and The Land Before Time. Some of his students were David Schwimmer, Julie Kavner, Richard Dreyfuss, Albert Brooks and Nicolas Cage.
He will be missed by many soap fans and what a difference he made in so many students lives. Rest in peace and thank you for the years of enjoyment seeing you on television.
