...What an insult Mitt just gave those who support Obama.
...He stated; and I quote him directly; ""There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney says in one clip. "All right -- there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent on government, who believe that, that they are victims, who believe that government has the responsibility to care for them. Who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing.""
...I do not know about you, but Mitt was very insulting!!
...Until "Obama care;" we were the only country in the top 20 that did not have a way for our citizens to have access to affordable health care.
...Health care is not a right, but something that is necessary.
...Frankly speaking, Mitt Romney is so far away from the first GOP leader, Abraham Lincoln, who shut down the big business of slavery, that it is now a totally different party.
..>Even different from when Goldwater and Ford led the GOP.
...The GOP of today needs to be replaced.
...I consider myself a "Goldwater" member of the GOP. Today's almost fascist bent GOP is not the party that I was proud to be a member of.
...The current actions of the "tea party GOP," has politicized the GOP where it may end up splitting into 2 separate parties.. That may be for the best.
...They are so fervent as to cost many their lives with drastic cuts to the social programs, right during a time when the "safety net" is shrinking.
...Here in Springfield, one MAJOR pantry is closing, and the one run by the Salvation Army, is going to shrink their hours of operation drastically.
...In the past few years several churches have shut their pantries down as well.
...This abandonment of the principles of Lincoln needs to stop.
...Romney paid just 15% of his income in taxes. The poor, up to 50%. Is that fair??

I loved Goldwater and his wife. My husband and I were quests of Goldwater in Washington DC. many years ago.
One difference is that Mitt Romney will cut student loans by at least half.
...Tod Akins, who is running for the US Senate here in Missouri, wants to eliminate the minimum wage.
Also, if you don't pay for his healthcare plan you will be penalized on your taxes.
