I just don’t understand why conservatives and Republicans are called bigots and chauvinist by the far left. Those on the far left deny their existence. Many of them falsely claim to be independents and moderates. This is really a warped way of thinking.
In two Presidential primaries I have voted for Alan Keyes. Also I thought Herman Cain and Allen West would have made good running mates for Romney. Most likely not one liberal Democrat would ever vote for any of these three men. This proves that calling every Republican a racist is a lie and an unfair label.
A few years back a liberal blogger was making fun of Alberto Gonzales. He called him Gonzo on many occasions. When I pointed out that this type of name calling fell under the category of racism, he started justifying his double standards.
As far as being a chauvinist, I have never treated women the way Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and John Edwards have done in the past. Also Republicans are ridiculed for being anti-Muslim. Now here is where Democrats contradict themselves. They call Republican chauvinist, but defend Muslim nations that treat women as second class humans.
It is really no point in talking politics with Democrats. Talking to people who have double standards is a waste of time. On a few occasions I have voted for a Democrat, but will never do so again.

How can you approve of both Muslims and women? Maybe there really are nice guys that don't carry out the rules that allow them to be selfish with the women. But the libers don't really know themselves I'll bet you. I don't really think they have truth and fancy rightly divided in their own minds.

As to Larry's remarks about doing research to have the facts, I have to applaud him. I get at least one email a week accusing Obama of doing something that was done before he was born or still a minor. It bothers me that people keep forwarding emails without checking out the facts only a little less than that their are people who make up these fraudulent, inflammatory emails. It's good to know that someone is still guarding his credibility with accurate statements.
This moderate thinks the reason conservatives are considered bigoted can be explained by much of what Rush Limbaugh says. His treatment of the girl who was testifying to Congress to support birth control was something that people will remember for a while. While his quoted racist and sexist remarks may be said in jest at times, they are what people remember. I can't count the times I've heard him mentioned as a leader in the Republican party. Even if the majority of conservatives disagree with his outlandish remarks, it's what the public is hearing.

You say this about Rush, but I dont see you condemning Bill Clinton, John Edwards, or Ted Kennedy. This really sounds moderate and independent to me.
However when Rush does something similar, he is head of the Republican Party. What nonsense.
A true so called moderate would have pointed this out. They would have truly researched the fact, instead of just pointing a finger towards Rush.
I have a theory that the Democrats NEED to keep racism alive.
But Bill Maher is just given a free pass, as an entertainer. He has given large sums of money to Democrat causes.
