Whether Robert Pattinson and his errant lady-love Kristen Stewart have really reconciled and resumed cohabitation has yet to be proved. It is however, pretty safe to assume that, with or without, KStew, RPattz is back in California. In fact, on September 15, he was spotted playing the guitar with, of all people, Dermot Mulroney.
According to a Tweet posted by Adam Shankman, the Twilight heart-throb was spotted playing the guitar in an unnamed L.A. club with Shankman's sister-in-law and, Dermot Mulroney, who was playing the cello. Rob has also been known to play the cello, but not that night. For those who don't recognize the name Adam Shankman, he's a choreographer who has been a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. He also directed the Tom Cruise clunker—er—vehicle, Rock of Ages, and he produced the 2010 Oscar Awards ceremony. Furthermore, considering his oddly awestruck and enthusiastic tweet, he also seems to be a dedicated twihard.
"My sister-in-law jammed w/ Robert Pattinson on guitar and Dermot Mulroney on cello last night," Shankman wrote. "Brilliant and stupefying to watch. Life is weird."
The obviously stupefied Mr. Shankman has posted tweets about Rob before. He mentioned spotting him earlier that day at Paramount Studios, where they were both attending Variety's 6th Annual Power Of Youth Event. And he has previously dished on Rob "being considered for Rock of Ages at the Breaking Dawn première," referring to the Cosmopolis man as "a good singer."
So, there you have it. If Pattinson and Stewart are back together, they obviously feel it's too early to be seen with each other in public. Sadly, they're probably right. On the other hand, RPattz fans who get antsy if their idol seems to drop off the radar for more than a day, can now relax.
Stay tuned.
Note: RPattz and Dermot Mulroney are BFFs? Or even acquaintances? Who knew?
