The stories regarding the divorce of hip-hop star Nas and R&B diva Kelis are massive as they are nasty: money issues regarding their child, custody matters and the like. But it seems like they’ve both seen the light, at least when it comes to their son, Knight.
Nas recently told TMZ that he and his ex have buried the hatchet enough to at least be civil for the sake of shared parenting and have even gone to dinner together. He emphasized that they weren’t getting back together on a romantic scale, but things are calm and cool and he hopes they stay that way.
It’s not that often you actually hear of people easing off after a divorce, but this is definitely a shining star that people can ease off their B.S. for a child’s sake. Way to go, guys!
