Prompt: Tell about your crush(es) and dream romances over the years

 

Many crushes over the years, but not many returned the affection.

They were mostly the same age. They were just not interested.

Time went by, the younger set came, those who sparked attention.

Affection they had in spades just not the maturity.

Till one day a crush returned the flame.

Some many dates later, that crush turned into love and then came marriage.

Two kids and eleven years later and we are happier than ever.

I'm happy for you.. I thought my crush had crushed on me when i was yet a teen.. I even had a ring on my finger... but things happen.. My crush had really crushed on another girl and they were were pregnant. needless to say there was no wedding between them nor us.
