Just call them racists. That's the word from the national campaign manager of liberal, progressive Super PAC CREDO. Matthew "Mudcat" Arnold told a group in Colorado, "When we said that Steve King (Rep. Steve King, [R-IA]) ... is pro-life and believes in cutting Social Security and voted for the Ryan budget, no one cared. When we said Steve King's a racist, Steve King believes that immigrants ought to be put in electric fences, people moved." Naturally, Arnold didn't add the word 'illegal' when talking about those immigrants King wanted to stop at the border.
The Daily Caller has an audio tape of the September 8th gathering in Aurora by the PAC that headlines its website, 'Take Down the Tea Party Ten'. They have labeled their 'targets' (Sarah Palin used a photo and got slammed, CREDO uses the actual words, 'target', 'takedown', etc. and it's okay) with ridiculous nicknames like 'Queen of Crazy' for Michele Bachmann, 'Beyond Crazy' for Allen West and 'The Ultimate Embarrassment' for Mike Fitzpatrick. They list the 'evidence' of each 'targets' wrongdoing with links to many things taken so far out of context it's a wonder anyone can take them seriously.
To people with their finger on the pulse of American politics, the methods of this Super PAC don't come as a surprise. Its been obvious, especially with the current administration, that calling Republicans 'racists' is part of a widespread plan. Most of the time, it's so far out of left field, rational people can only shake their heads in confusion. The bizarre notion that anyone who disagrees with President Obama's policies must be a racist has truly caught on as modus operandi for liberals.
Arnold told the gathering of supporters that they have discovered that "policy did not move voters". He said, "We want to stop people who have hijacked our community, who have hijacked the national platform and who are advocating policies and saying things in public that embarrass us." Mr. Arnold might want to take a look in the mirror. Using something as hurtful as racism for a political ploy is pretty darn embarrassing, in fact, it's downright shameful.

If you were racist, which party would you support? The party with all the blacks and Latinos and non Christians, or the party with few who are not white protestants?
If you were racist, which party would you support? The party with all
the blacks and Latinos and non Christians, or the party with few who are not white protestants?
Larry, wow. I thought you were better than that.
How about the party that best represents your beliefs? How about that? The elite left set this up so people like you, little sheep, believe that the right is racist. Don't fall for it. I thought only the stupid people fell for it. I think you are generally a smart guy.
The left NEEDS Racism to stay WIN. It is about power.
BullSh*t! The Southern Strategy was not smart, but it PALES in comparison to the left and if you had any concept of history, you would know that.
In 1940 or 1950 or 1960, as a racist I'd have been a Democrat since the southern Democrats were the most strongly racist of the various parties. In 1965 the Democrat president Johnson rammed through civil rights legislation that revolutionized the legal system for blacks in the U.S. That cost the Democrats the southern Democrats who moved over to the Republican Party.
So look where the racists gather today. I have heard videos of TEA Party meetings when speakers make racist jokes and the crowd laughs loudly and applauds strongly. That indicates that lots of racists are supporting the TEA Party and the Republicans. The "code words" usage by the Republican Party in their ads says the same things.
Now all that may change one day but just now that's the way it is.
If you like history read Caro's biography of Lyndon Johnson. You will understand much better that transition of the Democratic Party from the most racist to the lesser racist party. (There are only 4 of the 5 planned volumes available but any of the 2-4 volumes makes it pretty clear.)
"If you were racist, which party would you support? The party with all the blacks and Latinos and non Christians, or the party with few who are not white protestants?"
Your credibility factor just plummeted...What a horrible statement...I agree with Renee...I thought you were above the spouting of intentional incoherent representation of the people of this great nation. The right and the left should be pissed with that statement...
The nerve it strikes is as obvious as the answer to those questions. Obviously racism still exists in America, as it does in every culture. Obviously racism is more likely to be found in groups that are more ethnically homogenous than in groups that are more diverse.
If the RNC and DNC showed nothing else they showed that the Republicans are almost exclusively white another Democrats are more representative of the American population as a whole.
Clearly not all Republicans are racists and clearly some Democrats are. But if the two parties were holding their conventions across the street from each other and, for some strange reason, you needed a racist right away or the world would end then your best bet would be to run into the RNC. You know it, I know it and everyone reading this page knows it.
Please be specific about my 1:24 comment and tell me 1) what is untrue about the comment and 2) what's horrible about it.
"Lord, what fools we Mortals be."- William Shakespeare
I did NOT write that the Democratic Party was all blacks, etc. I wrote "The party with all the blacks and Latinos and non Christians".
I am basing it on reports of voter preferences between the Democratic and Republican parties. There actually was one which had the Republican Party as STATISTICALLY zero percent of blacks as preferring it. (Not literally, of course.) I believe it because it is an honest representation of the facts. The overwhelming majority of minorities are Democrat in preference while the overwhelming majority of the Republicans are White.
If you have different information, please change my mind by presenting sources.
"Black Conservatives Make Their Voices Heard After Poll Shows Romney Support Among African-Americans at Zero Percent"
They may not be members of the Republican party but they are NOT going to vote for Obama.
"Black conservatism"
Link
Not possible.
"Meaning what, exactly, Dan."
There's a lot of black conservatives out there who are not going to vote for Obama. It doesn't matter how many black Republicans there are.
Does it matter?!? I'm with Larry on this one~if this King guy really believes this, then he doesn't deserve the word "Representative" preceding his name. Not only shameful, but disgusting!
Ms. Thang,
The immigrant thing aside...there are some REALLY scary things about this story:
The Tea Party Ten - Just think of that concept - they are deliberately targeting ten people (that they do not like) and hounding them and making the decision to throw anything at the wall that they can to find out what sticks. There (to me, anyway) seems to be something fundamentally dishonest and sickening about this strategy. If they want to promote their own candidate, fine - promote away - and some mud-slinging ads - we don't like them, but we are used to them - fine - But THIS - this active targeting, this ACTIVE idea of "Take Him Down", Lie, Cheat, Do WHATEVER IT TAKES is kind of insidious.
And the other thing that disturbs me greatly (and you must know this about me by now) is the nonchalant way the left uses the word "racist" as a weapon. I submit that they do it deliberately. They know it puts people on the defensive and it keeps people of color in their party. As a matter of fact, I believe the elite in the Democrat party deliberately keep racism ALIVE for their own power. It sounds like a crazy charge, I know, but I believe it - I think my article proves it.
here, here, here, here, here, here.
They support these illegals breaking the law and coming here and not being legal... They want to educate their kids, give them all kinds of benefits, but wont make our own on the welfare rolls do these jobs that the politians claim the Americans wont do...
We continue to send billions in aide to foreign countries who want to murder us ... These countries wont keep our Americans safe there...
This administration wants to make a politcal thing about Romney speaking out... Instead, they should be coming up with a decision to stop sending tax payers money to support people who kill us..
Abortion is a legal medical procedure Abortion is murdering unborn children, who have beating hearts and brainwaves. It is not a "glob of cells"
Disgustingly correct...on both counts...
The real "War" is on Men. And, it is waged by misguided "Girls" and Leftist girly-boys who cower and genuflect at the mere sight of a Woman, in their own candy-assed fear of unworthiness.
As much as I would completely enjoy Mark-John's blind loyalty, my respect for him is due to the fact that he has blind loyalty for nobody. He thinks for himself, thank goodness. And that, my friend, is why his opinion means something.
Blind is a better description of both you and MJK, you give no indication of independent thought.
The elite left knows it is a lie, but they need the lie to win. Here is PROOF. They deliberately keep racism alive without a thought for the pain that it causes because they are that hungry for power.
Bob Is A Racist
Rory, you don't think that people who criticize Obama are called racists?
Nate, random quote:
It is true that liberty is precious - so precious that it must be rationed.
Vladimir Lenin
People who criticize Obama purely on policy differences are called political opponents, not racists.
MariAna, you are likely stuck with me for a while.
MariAna, you are likely stuck with me for a while. ;-)
It is funny that the right wing now hides their racism behind claims that they are falsely accused of racism.
The fact is that any word can be used as racist code. It is not the word but the usage that counts. For example, Chicago. The word Chicago, as in Chicago-style politics, is used ad infinitum by the right these days. It is certainly meant as a pejorative, even if not meant as racist code. I took it more as a partisan slur than a racist one, but then I've only ever passed through Chicago once so I know very little about the racial aspects of the comment.
I know that Republicans have tried to say Obama takes too many days off and refer to him as playing a lot of golf. Of course, no president enjoyed as many holidays as Bush, but they never mentioned that. Is it racism or hyper partisanship? It's kind of a toss up, isn't it?
"Only the half-breed could sleep while our ambassador was being raped and murdered."
("half-breed" talking about President Barack Obama if you ever need any precision) is it
RACISM or not?
I do agree with you on this one: "Using something as hurtful as racism for a political ploy is pretty darn embarrassing, in fact, it's downright shameful."
Despite the fact that you seem to habe broken every mirror in your home: maybe because you hate looking at yourself as you are not a "blondie"? I wonder and ... keep wondering.
As it could not be "half-breed" (the baby saw light) it is for sure HALF-RACISM!
And if it half of it, it cannot be RACISM.
This is a natural Ryan deduction flooded with white tea! (Not even black tea which is shameful as you know) and computed with Romney's half tax returns!
You meant "rabid right," Renee~those typos will get you every time!
And you see no contradiction in this, right?
Of course, these are not lies: just a missed interpretation of reality as the way they deny needs to health care or financial regulations.
50% (fifty per cent) of the Floridian teenagers are HOMELESS!
No time left (where?) to educate ... if educated themselves.
If you are worried about his "lie", you must have quite a bit of outrage over Obama, who has done nothing but lie.
Of course, he gets away with it because the media does not call him on it.
What to me is shocking but to me pure racism, is that Obama doesnt claim his white part, does he? Isnt this racism, or am I wrong about this? Just askin'.
Never mind that he is the first black man whose white heritage ever meant a dammed thing to them.
I am just pointing it out that he is part white as well as him being part black and it is racist on his part not to say more about it... Now what if it was reversed and he didnt say anything about his black side but embraced his white side...? Shoe is now on the other fault and no matter how you roll the dice it comes back the same way..
You libs, try to make a mountain out of an ant hill... BUt here is a news flash for you, in case you didnt get it... I dont now nor have I ever cared what a libby thinks of me, cause everyone knows that libs thinking is not exactly norman...
So, since you think you can read crystal balls, how good are you at reading minds and how much do you charge to read tea leaves? I hear the circus is hiring...
The United States of America is a country that was founded with an existential identity crisis. Its founding principle is that "all men were created equal", yet for almost its entire first century it kept its black men (and women, of course) in slavery. For another hundred years it kept those emancipated blacks legally unequal. Finally the civil rights bill addressed that inequality. However, two centuries of political marginalization left blacks distinctly unequal financially. Some measures like Johnson's Great Society and affirmative action programs attempted to redress that, inexpertly and even unfairly at times.
All of these attempts to live up to the nation's creed were met with stiff resistance. The political fighting that preceded the Civil War broke into the third biggest conflict in human history before freeing the slaves. The civil rights movement saw blacks shot, beaten and attacked by police dogs for demanding their rights. Naturally, the first black man elected to the highest office in the land also became the target of intense racism, much of it coming from those who claim to be "values" based voters.
In a country such as this race plays into every aspect of everyday life. It is not possible to live as a black man or woman in the United States without your race being a factor in thousands of subtle and obvious ways. Everyday black people are arrested for crimes they did not commit. Everyday black men are stopped by police for "driving while being black". Everyday black people are represented by public defenders who prove the adage that justice is a commodity for those who can afford it. Everyday black men languish in prison for no other reason than that they "fit the description" of "young black male" and couldn't afford the dream team lawyers to get them off. Everyday the black president gets accused of or blamed for things that have nothing to do with his presidency.
In a country like this no one looking like Barack Obama could choose to grow up like a white man, no matter who his mother and grandparents are or where he was raised. He remains, in the eyes and hearts of most, a black man, for good or ill.
Bullshit
Racism is practically non-existent in America - the Democrats NEED it to win, and therefore, they perpetuate these lies.
If you never leave the echo chamber you never hear anything but you own opinion coming back to you.
Perhaps I was hasty in saying you could not be as naive as you try to sound. Anyone who thinks racism is practically non-existent in the USA is as naive as a baby.
If you don't like Marxism, you are racist.
Stalin even sent millions of the Asian people to fight on the front against the Nazis "because they were less educated". Most of them fought and fall in Stalingrad ... instead of the white Western Russians.
Try avoiding talking through your hat.
But just because all of that valid criticism is easy to make and validate does not mean that conservatives should get a pass for their obvious, covert racism.
Irrational nature... the conservatives, dont believe in abortion is that irrational?
The conservatives, believe in God, is this irrational?
THe conservatives, wants to get people back to work and not keep them under the governments thumb, is that irrational?
The conservatives, arent perfect but they do believe in morals, values, character, integrity, family, God, and country... Are these beliefs being irrational...?
The conservatives want to turn some of the government give away programs around to make them better for the future. Is this being irrational?
Is wanting to fix a 16 trillion dollar debt to the future generations being irrational?
Wanting to pay our debt instead of keep running it up, is this being irrational...
I am proud to say that I am a conservative, I am a Republican, and I do believe in GOD...
As I said, in an earlier comment, I do not care what anyone on the left thinks of me... When the left starts paying my bills, taxes, etc... then they have a right to criticize me but until then... they can stuff their opinions where the sun dont shine..
AND the left is perfect... and this is their Messiah, the one that walks on water... No the left doesnt do any wrong.."
No, the left is not perfect, Obama is hardly a messianic figure. Only conservatives seem to think in these absolutist terms, black and white binary thinking. You see only two options so which must be direct opposites. In the real, rational world there are many options, many degrees, many shades of grey. One can see many faults in Obama as a leader and still see that he is a far superior option to the hate, fear and rage that the right offers and the destruction they will bring.
"Irrational nature... the conservatives, dont believe in abortion is that irrational? The conservatives, believe in God, is this irrational?"
Your "disbelief" in abortion is based on your faith, despite the Bible making no mention of abortion whatsoever. History shows us that abortion replaced widespread infanticide, which is a much worse option, as was the many women who died from unsafe, illegal abortions. If conservatives showed any compassion for actual living people I would be more inclined to believe in their compassion for the pre-born.
Conservative do not all believe in GOD, nor are they the only ones who do. If you base your beliefs on Christian teaching then you betray them by supporting Republican policies, because Jesus's teachings are very liberal.
"THe conservatives, wants to get people back to work and not keep them under the governments thumb, is that irrational?"
Says who? If the conservatives really wanted to get people back to work they would not have put defeating Obama as a higher priority and engaged in obstructionism instead of bi-partisan co-operation.
"The conservatives, arent perfect but they do believe in morals, values, character, integrity, family, God, and country... Are these beliefs being irrational...?"
Whose morals, whose values, whose character, whose integrity? The most laughable claim of conservatives is that they have the moral high ground. As if! It is not morality to judge and hate everyone different than you. It is not morality to start wars of convenience and kill thousands of people based on lies. It is not morality to deny civil rights to some people because they don't share your faith and convictions.
"The conservatives want to turn some of the government give away programs around to make them better for the future. Is this being irrational?"
The conservatives want to turn some of the government give away programs around to stop giving to the poor and needy and have them give to the rich and greedy. That is the very definition of irrational.
Is wanting to fix a 16 trillion dollar debt to the future generations being irrational? Wanting to pay our debt instead of keep running it up, is this being irrational...
If only conservatives actually DID any of those things instead of just saying they want to. In office conservative always run up the deficit and debt. For examples see Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.
"I am proud to say that I am a conservative, I am a Republican, and I do believe in GOD..."
Bully for you. It's a shame you think your faith is a political statement rather than an actual guide for what kinds of political action you should support.
"As I said, in an earlier comment, I do not care what anyone on the left thinks of me... When the left starts paying my bills, taxes, etc... then they have a right to criticize me but until then... they can stuff their opinions where the sun dont shine.."
How very Christian of you. (Sarcasm, just in case your grasp of that is as weak as your understanding of your faith appears to be.)
"Conservative do not all believe in GOD, nor are they the only ones who do."
I would contend that there are probably more observant, Christ-following Christians in the Democratic Party than in the Republican Party, where self-proclaimed Christians are more concerned about tax cuts than being their brother's keeper.
Duh. Perhaps Obama should take of the brother he has who lives in a shack.
MJK: every time you speak of Him it seems to me you diminish Jesus Christ. You think you have some special claim to personal knowledge of Him, probably what you think of as a "personal relationship" with Him. All of this is meaningless. Without meaning. It is a shield you use to defend yourself against your own doubts and feelings of guilt. Those feelings likely arise from your political support for things that are quite the contrary of what Jesus taught and lived and died for. I suggest you re-read Matthew 25:32-46 and contemplate quietly how that message conflicts with your support for the Republican Party and, in particular, the positions of Paul Ryan.
Don't bother trying to tell me otherwise, I already know what you are. It is yourself you are trying to convince.
I ignore if religions teach that skin color implies some difference among them. Maybe, it seems to me, the Muslims are more associated, by most people, with highly pigmented skins.
One thing is for sure, as an economist I have to confess and accept that what we use to call the "White" power, has found this way to avoid including everyone in the legitimate right to welfare.
Such RIGHT to welfare has not even a religious base but an economic one, out of it, to the contrary, SLAVERY is not to be discarded.
As a scientist, I notice that we can land on the moon, we can send a rover on Mars, we can see and change the position of an atom in any cell, we know that our human pollution is at the origin of many cancers and climate changes, we are aware that our tanned appearance is considered of being healthy and that, thanks to it, skin cancers are increasing sharply, etc. etc. but,
because of the belief that God created the human being, and created it "white", we keep considering that skin lack of color is directly related to knowledge, ability to think and ability to communicate.
So, if you still believe that Christian and Jewish religions should be mainly those of white skinned people, if you believe that this is a question of Faith, if you believe that your skin color drives your intelligence, your ability to communicate, your ability to satisfy sexually your partner(s), your ability to taste any wine and food, etc. I beg you not to continue reading the following paragraphs.
They are not designed for close-minded people, for "über alles" people, for people alike vickey w., renee nal, Mark-John K., Big Mama, Opinion Nate Ted, Steve King, MariAna B., etc. (the list is far incomplete and I may have been confusing as I am not perfect, as they seem to be).
We have proved that the few human beings who were living in a small area, Namibia, had all of them highly pigmented skins because of the strong sun light and because the pigmentation fights the incoming sun light impeding it to create D vitamins in excess.
The discovered many fossiles show that these people were living together by some how small groups altogether not exceeding 7,000 people. They were quite diversified, as scientists discovered among them at the least 35 different types of genes. Nowadays we are 7,000,000 people and due to the spreading on the whole earth, which implies less exchanges, the number of overall genes types is reduced to 14.
It has been proved that these people were nomads moving of a bit less than a mile per year while looking for new areas to live in, since ab. 270,000 years ago.
These highly skin pigmented people moved from Africa to Europe and Asia then Australia. While moving North, they started LOSING the skin pigmentation in order to regulate (sorry for the hatred word for GOP and TP people (LOL)) the creation of D vitamins as the less pigmented the skin is, the more D vitamins are being produced.
But the then population move was relatively slow. Nowadays, we may fly from North to South and vice versa very fast and for some few days and, unfortunately, the number of skin and other cancers is raising sharply due to pollution and over vitamin D production.
But our type of skin is exactly the same one, only more or less pigmented: WE ARE ALL BLACK PEOPLE with 14 types of genes instead of 35 and with fast increasing number of cancers.
Therefore, it seems obvious that our specie will disappear sooner than later: if we consider that we went from 35 to 14 types of genes and that diseases are growing exponentially, we may consider (for the time being) that our specie will be wiped out in some 150,000 years, 4,500 generations, from now if we still have energies to work with!
In the meantime, fighting for power based on the skin color, white or any other color, blue, and green included, is being REGRESSIVE, close-minded and worse, LOOKING FOR DISEASES. As you can deduct from it, this is reallly being clever and educated (LOL).
What you are missing, friend, is that you have fallen for the lie. It is not your fault, the lie has been drummed into you by the left-wing media, that perpetuates the lie. They do this because without the black vote, they lose.
Malcolm X realized this.
He said,
"They see that the whites are so evenly divided that every time they vote the race is so close they have to go back and count the votes all over again. And that...which means that any block, any minority that has a block of votes that stick together is in a strategic position. Either way you go, that's who gets it. You're -- You're in a position to determine who will go to the White House and who will stay in the dog house."
Anytime you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that Party can’t keep the promise that it made to you during election time, and you’re dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that Party, you’re not only a chump, but you’re a traitor to your race. - Malcolm X
Since the right/left vote is oftentimes straight down the middle, Democrats have a huge advantage if they can fool people into believing the lie about Republicans. Even though actual racists count for a very small minority of American citizens, it is vital that racism is "kept alive" for the Democrats, because if racism goes away - they lose the valuable hold they have over the electorate.
You guys can't even tell yourselves the truth, and to paraphrase Shakespeare, it then follows as the night follows day that you cannot be true to any man.
2) You have to admit that as a tactic the Super PAC CREDO could have done a lot worse than telling the truth!
Hey Rory, do you think that the Family Research Council shooting has anything to do with the left repeatedly calling them a hate group?
I didn't say I was unfamiliar with your map, Renee, but with the Family Research Council shooting you referenced. Believe it or not, most people do not obsess over every one of the 17,000 plus incidents of murderous gun violence in the States annually.
Why dont Obama attend his Intelligence Briefings?
Remember, the left would only believe this if it were about President Bush...
Hi Nate, you are so right... They need to learn how to either watch tv or google it... They want us to do all their work for them... but that makes sense... The taxpayers working to pay taxes for all kinds of handouts...Taxpayers doing all the work , just to hand over their money to give to those who dont work, or to the give-me-countries...
...let me guess, just following orders?
Maybe it was this lie, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one, or this one?
You wouldn't know truth if it crapped on your dinner plate.
Never rely in information from any source if you can predict what they will say before you read it.

"His opinion seems very important to you"
...it's called "Know your enemy."
"maybe you're a follower."
...I'm finished with your foolishness. It has been a total waste of time. You can go ahead and have your last stupid comment.
BTW - when that happens, you people might just be able to figure out the reasons for the Bachmann and West nicknames.
