For the first time, Adam Lambert will be performing concerts in South Africa! Although he never made it there during his Glam Nation world tour in 2010, Adam will finally have the opportunity to meet his South African fans when he promotes his new album Trespassing in November.
Adam's fans first learned of the South African concerts when Cape Town radio station 94.5 kfm tweeted on Wednesday night: "It's official - @AdamLambert is coming to SA! 13 Nov in Cape Town. Tickets on sale at 9am FRIDAY from Computicket!" But that's not all, because he actually has two concerts lined up in South Africa. est, Adam will perform in Johannesburg on November 16 at the Coca-Cola Dome.
Adam's South African fans were ecstatic to hear the news, and it didn't take long for him to trend on Twitter in Johannesburg. One fan summed up the general excitement when she tweeted, "OMGGGGGGG @adamlambert FINALLY COMING TO SOUTH AFRICA??? REALLY???? YAYYYY!!!!"
Although he has not yet performed there, Adam is popular in South Africa. In fact last month, he was featured on the cover of South African teen magazine "Teen Zone."
