Life has been so rushed lately that I am barely having time to eat and sleep. I do hope you will forgive me for the lateness of the Today post this week. I fear it may be like this all week but I will still do my very best to keep you up to speed with the happenings around the community. I have a variety of subjects to spotlight for you today. I have found some amazing photos, poetry and of course some post written by the amazing Gather authors.Â
So grab your favorite drink, sit back, relax and spend a few minutes with a tour of the site with me. Glad you are here!

Do you remember the days of blurry photos? I mean it was the norm because cameras just were not as good as they are today. Well I found an amazing photo that shows just how clear cameras are today.  by Karen E.  | |

Gather member Ryan Reid's son Noah has been entered into Gerber generations photo search. Its all based on voting and the winner of each milestone gets a $10,000 Gerber grow up plan policy to be used for college.
You can vote once a day. This is a great way to support the members in the gather community.

Good luck Ryan and Noah!
Where To Find Things On Gather Â
Do you often get confused when you are looking for something in particular? You are not alone, it seems that we all forget where things are when we don't access them on a daily basis. There is a wonderful post written by Gather support Chuck McGuire. It has just about everything you need to know in a simple to read |  Need Help on Gather  In an attempt to get your questions and problems taken care of in a timely manner, Gather has a staff of customer support agents just for your problems. However, keep in mind that they cannot help you if you don't tell them what is going on. Please refer all your questions, concerns, and feedback to the official Gather HELP FORM. The Gather staff will respond (if necessary) by email. The Gather Help Desk will be used for important announcements so feel free to check it out from time to time. i went and voted for Noah, again.
Are you feeling better? Are the rest of the family still sick or are you all on the mend? I hate it when everyone gets sick at the same time. It really makes it hard on the "Mom". She is expected to be the doctor, nurse, maid and everything else. LOL
I am so far behind on the comments of these posts. I try to read and comment on every comment but I have not had time to do anything lately. This house hunting is driving me crazy. I hate it. The house that I thought I wanted had too many things wrong with it. It needed a new roof, foundation was not up to par and that was just the beginning. It would have cost more to fix it up than to just forget it and look elsewhere. I HATE HOUSE HUNTING, maybe even worse than car buying.
I don't think that is crazy. We prayed a lot during the day for Heavenly Father to direct us to the right house. He did. We found it and made an offer. I was so afraid they would reject our offer and counter it but they accepted it. We signed the paperwork and they signed. Now we are waiting on the deed search and then the closing. We give them two weeks to move out ofter the closing date because we will be living in a motel until they move out.
I even ask Heavenly Father to help me to hear the still small promptings over my own desires because I was afraid I had reached the point that my wants was getting stronger than my listening the Spirit was.
I knew as soon as I walked in this house, that it was home and that we were meant to live there.
I am glad you enjoyed the spotlighted posts. How is your daughter. I promise I will get a package to her but it may be awhile. I don't have time to do anything right now.
Have you read "Twisted Stories" in entirety yet?
You are so very welcome. I am glad you were able to find more posts that were of interest to you. I try to add a variety of posts, photos and videos each day. My intent is to keep the community connected on a personal level. Does it work for you?
I appreciate the spotlight.
I hope you were able to download the gather author book "Twisted Stories". Were you ?
It is so good to see you. I have missed you in the gather community. How have you been? Do you still read a lot?
It is so cool that we can vote each day! The gather community can be a great source of support when we all ban together. :)
Congratulations!
I just love being a Grandparent. We have four grand-kids now. Our oldest is 9 now and it just does not seem like she could possibly be that old.
You do not look old enough to have a grandchild!
I worry about you. Are things any better for you and your family now?
Have a wonderful day.
Perhaps you can do this once a week until all is settled down ... YOUR project IS greatly appreciated - but I know it is ALOT OF WORK ... OR maybe you should get some help!!!! I know many members in Gather would JUMP at the chance of helping you!!!
Today it seems most doctors schedule a C-section so they can deliver the baby when they want. I could not believe the amount of C-sections that are being done today. It seems they do a lot of inducing labor as well.
Do you find that to be the case in your area of the world as well?
I have fond memories of the morphine pump, though.....
You kids must be stubborn like mine. Both our daughters were late. We were pregnant six times. We were only able to have two full term babies though. The strange thing is that the ones that were due in July, I lost. The two that was due on Christmas day, I carried to term. Victoria was not born until Jan 4th though. Tina was born December 29th. So both was late.
LOL @Morphine pump. LOL I had one tubal pregnancy and they had to do emergency surgery. I was bleeding internally really bad. I was in 4 hospitals in one day. LOL One of my girl friends came to see me after the surgery was performed. She said I sat up in bed and talked to her. I still don't remember it. LOL
I have noticed that many women are having babies later in life these days. So upper thirties is not really high risk these days. It is so funny how things have changed.
You know you and your family are always on my radar when it comes to posts. LOL
I am late too.. . . . . and I wrote the post. LOL
I try to read and comment on every comment that is made on my posts but I don't even have time to eat three meals a day this week. One meal and that is it. Even that one meal is rushed. I am exhausted, my head hurts, and I can't think anymore. I need sleep, food and some down time. LOL
