Bible Verse and Prayer Wednesday Sept. 12 th, 2012

"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:10.

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses." I Timothy 6:12.

Confess your faults (sins) one to another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. James 5:16.

Dear God,
Thank you for your Holy Spirit who convicted my heart and worked in me to accept you as my Savior. Thank you that I can come to you freely to confess my sins and that in turn know that I am forgiven. Keep my faith strong and help me to boldly confess with my mouth what I believe so that others will know what you have done for me and will do for them.
In Jesus name I pray,

You're most welcome, Sandy......you know, I find myself reading the Holy Book quite a lot lately.......it's just incredible all the great stuff in it.....so very relevant to today and ALL of life's problems/challenges that face us! Our pastor had challenged us to read the book of Philippians and to write down a verse or two and put it throughout the house......I really love the ones, our focus needs to be on HEAVENLY things, not "worldly"/earthly things........I keep reminding myself of that each and every day, especially with all the evil surrounding us these days! Also, the one on being content with what one has, in all circumstances......that's great one as well!

I have been trying to do that lately and clearly earthly things that are just sitting there collecting dust and being in the way.

Oh hey, I've got too, too many "earthly" things just sitting around, collecting dust as well but am trying to really cut down on stuff......sometimes it's hard, though!
