So yesterday Heather, Isaac, Riley, and I were outside playing and I ran into this really odd looking spider. He was sitting on a leaf of our pear tree. I of course was very interested in this weird looking little guy and had to inspect it further. So I grabbed the leaf he was sitting on off of the tree to get a closer look. I tried to get him to move around on the table so I could see what he actually looked like, but every thing I tried failed.
I have two pictures that will fit here on Gather, but the third one is a MB or two too big.

The third picture is of its back side which is what makes it pretty different looking than any spider I have seen. It is kind of triangle shaped.

Maybe among the orbweavers, here?
I got one in my hand the other day cleaning some fruit trees, they are harmless.
When disturbed or touched they curl up like that to disguise and protect.
I picked it as I thought it is dried leaf rolled up.
They are not ugly, they are just amazing creatures, cleaning up around the garden.
I'd rather have them around than bloody mosquitos
