I'm having trouble with "perplex" in that line, but that happens in this form.

Yeah me too, but I couldn't think of a better word so I went with a synonym for complex. This form does present complications creating coherent sentences.

I think that may be an apt description. How many (or few) words did he use to write his stories? Lots of rhymes and repetitions.

I think perplex is a good choice of word -- many different meanings in connection with the event and people's thoughts on it, if not especially about the memorial.

I agree it's a great choice in line 3; unfortunately it's clumsy to work it into line 6. But that's the nature of the form.

Yes, she's always YOUR mother when the other twin doesn't want to claim her. I've gotten used to seeing or hearing the phrase.

Very good Veronica, finding it difficult to come up with one, seems so short, should be easy but it's not. Love this though.

I find short can be more difficult at times. Especially with the tyburn where one needs to be mindful of syllable count, rhyme and word pattern. A pretty good form for mindful poetry. Keep trying Angie. I found writing the nonsensical ones to be more fun and easier. You may want to start there.

Very cool and interesting -- and how about having an underground skyscraper?! I think Robyn Hitchcock had an album called Perspex Island, which I may even have. Don't know what it means though -- he's definitely quite bizarre and hard to understand! I suppose someone could really get carried away and have verses in the shapes of the towers and the planes that hit them. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you. I wrote an Irish poem for #nationalpoetryday sorry it is not mindful poetry's October form. I'm still mulling that one over.
