A tornado confirmed in New York City on Saturday morning. It is the same storm that struck Oklahoma on Friday killing four people. No people were reported killed in New York City.
New York City rarely has tornadoes, and people from the midwest know all about them, but what devastation a tornado could have on New York.
According to Fox News, "The Weather Service had issued a tornado warning for Queens and Brooklyn at around 10:40 a.m. as the storm began to move through the city. Reports of storm damage in Breezy Point began coming in at around 11:15 a.m.
The storm came in from the ocean, and blew signs, dumpsters, and sand. People were frightened, as New Yorkers are used to just about every type of storm, but not tornadoes.
