Pippa Middleton spent a long week in New York City taking in the sites and rubbing elbows with the elite. She also spent her 29th birthday in the Big Apple and of course, celebrated the special occasion with her new friends.
Pippa and her pals headed to the Meatpacking District for lunch at Toy sushi. Unfortunately, Pippa is a huge attraction and wherever she goes, paparazzi go. Kate Middleton's younger sister is probably getting used to the tag alongs by now, and essentially ignores them as much as possible. Not everybody can ignore their annoying presence.
Apparently, Vanessa Cedeno, the hostess at the restaurant, went to war for Pippa. When a photographer tried to follow Pippa in the door of the Hotel Gansevoort, Cedeno chucked a glass at the guy! The man sustained a gash on his leg and the hostess was actually arrested on assault charges. Wow! Pippa should consider hiring this girl for her own personal security.
Unfortunately for Cedeno, she is in big trouble and was ordered held in jail until a $7,500 bond could be posted. Hmm, maybe Pippa Middleton should send a thank-you card or offer to pay her legal fees. An attorney for Cedeno says she acted in self-defense, but that will be a tough one to prove.
