A four-year-old girl lay beneath her dead mother's legs in a car on the French Alps. Authorities found eight people slaughtered, and did not notice the little girl because she did not move. She lay motionless beneath her mother's legs.
The crime scene was more like a bad fiction movie that included a seven-year-old. All the victims were British tourists except for a French bicyclist who must have come upon the scene making him the eighth victim.
The four-year-old is physically all right, but what a nightmare that child lived through. It was probably her ability to remain silent that saved her little life.
According to NBC, "Immobilized with fear, a 4-year-old British girl huddled for eight hours beneath the legs of her slain mother in a car filled with corpses on a remote road in the French Alps — while investigators stood nearby, unaware she was there."
