Nicki Minaj may have wanted attention when she rapped that she was voting for Mitt Romney on Lil Wayne's "Dedication 4" mixtape, but apparently, she didn't get the kind of attention she wanted.
The "YMCMB" rapper claimed she's a Republican now after Democrats messed up the economy.
Though the initial response was shock and a lot of media attention, it seems that people are now angry at Nicki for her support of the former Massachusetts governor.
On Twitter, fans and/or haters of the beauty from Trinidad have been sending her hateful messages most of which consist of the word "die."
"Somebody please kill Nicki Minaj," said one Twitter user. Others had the same sentiment, saying that if she wanted to vote for Romney instead of Obama, then she can just die.
Obviously, who a person votes for is their business. If Nicki wants to vote for Mitt Romney then she should do so. However, maybe she should think twice before announcing it to the world next time.
