Pink has made some of the most controversial videos ever by a mainstream artist, but her latest music video "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" seems to have ticked off her most ardent fans by selling out to pressures brought to bear by her management.
In other words, she's playing it safe. But what's a new mother to do?
The song was released on her YouTube Vevo channel on Wednesday, seriously mangled with some provocative lyrics getting cut. The title is an obvious play on words, after all.

And, it's been rendered in color, rather than the Black & White original. That should make the blood and gore more vivid. Instead it flattens the whole point.
Harking back to her formerly rebellious days (she slammed her own husband in one of her biggest hits) the setting of the music video is all about a woman scorned. And revenge taken out in buckets of blood. And more disgusting bodily fluids, all at the altar.
Pink fans on the channel howled about the cuts, but didn't give in to the same reluctance to be profane. Not every comment can be quoted here, but they're mostly in the vein of what riv3rss has to say:
"the other b/w video was way more funny!! ;) but this rocks too!"
In the end, it comes down to the song.
In that department, P!nk still rules...
Here's the video:
What do you think? Do you like the original better?
