Fulham FC have worked very well to keep Moussa Dembele at Craven Cottage over this Summer transfer window, but when Tottenham Hotspur boss AVB came calling, it was an offer too much for the West London club to turn down.  Today's Transfer Rumours And Gossip pages are filled with the fact that the reported £15 million offer from Tottenham Hotspur was accepted by Fulham, and Moussa Dembele was having his medical at White Hart Lane late last night.  

This Summer transfer window has been annoying for Spurs supporters to this stage.  Some argue that there is a distinct lack of striking options at White Hart Lane, even after the £5 million addition of Emmanuel Adebayor.  However, AVB has claimed, on a number of occassions, that he is happy with the striking options at Spurs and is concentrating on building up the midfield.  The signing of Moussa Dembele will certainly do just that.  Ask any Fulham supporter, and they will say that Moussa Dembele is the best player to play at Craven Cottage for ages, and a player that gives 100% for the team every single match.  How Fulham have been able to keep him at their club for this long is a miracle.  He looks like a player in the mould of Yaya Toure, but with a lot more pace.  Moussa Dembele will fit in perfectly with the new AVB system and no doubt become a firm fan favourite straight away.

So, just the signings of Willian, Lloris and M'Vila to go before Friday at 11pm...maybe a big name striker too?  Well, no one believes AVB when he says he is happy with the striking options!  Surely, he has something up his sleeve.
