Well, as Sassy Cat pointed out, today is the 7th anniversary of Gather being on the internets. And while I've only been here for 5 of those years, that's far long enough to have some great times! I decided to gather (haha, no pun intended) some of my favorite Gather memories!
Ahhh, good times. Remember when I made Portia a tinfoil hat? I asked her if she remembered, but I think she's repressed that particular memory.

The comments, really, are where this post shines! (And a funny tidbit, the guy who lent me pants in those comments with Sassy is the guy I've now been dating for a year and a half. :)

Ahhh, it is so bizarre to think about the time before I owned Sarge :) I still remember all of the Gather support I had leading up to the auction!

no points contests, no summer photo contests...skywriters(ack!). I so want just one day of the old gather back.....It was even fun battling with crazy people.
And yes... I miss a lot of things about the old Gather!
