The 26-year-old Canadian crooner has proved—in the few of times she has walked the red carpet—that she can look quite grown-up and classy, but thanks to her bubblegum "Call Me Maybe" persona, we cannot imagine her in anything but brightly colorful teenybopper outfits
But for her latest photo shoot, Carly Rae proved that she could also do glam by donning a gorgeous green Alexander McQueen dress and Christian Louboutin leopard print pumps on the cover of FASHION's October 2012 issue.
The singer, who is one of pop music's hottest stars at the moment, tells the mag about her views on pop stardom:
"Nobody can do Britney [Spears] again. She did a great job at it. I just want to be the best Carly Rae I can be."
