Sassy makes fresh garden salsa at least once during tomato season. If you love salsa and have never eaten fresh salsa, you have got to try it. Fresh is so much better than canned, especially compared to the mass-produced jars of salsa on the grocery shelves. This salsa recipe is mild. Use more or hotter chile peppers, if you want it hot, or kick it up with spicier seasoning. Or add a cup of canned black beans, rinsed and drained. Sassy's Summer Fresh Garden Salsa 4 cups diced tomatoes Stir all ingredients together. Serve with tortilla chips. Refrigerate leftovers.
