This week on Army Wives, Joan is still mad that Roland is treating Marcus for his addiction. You know something is up when she starts having nightmares from when she was younger. Meanwhile, The LeBlanc's are planning their big move to Tacoma but Roxy still hasn't sold the Hump Bar yet. Is she stalling?
Roland has found another place for Marcus to get his treatment that will get him in a lot sooner. Marcus tells him that he is ready to get clean once and for all. However, Joan is not convinced. In fact, she heads over to the office to confront him. She has some harsh words for him, telling Marcus that he will never get clean and will always be an addict. The next morning, Roland finds him passed out with a needle in his hand and barely breathing.
Marcus survives but he tells Roland that he won't go back to the treatment center. Joan shows up at the hospital to tell Roland that she was responsible for Marcus overdosing. She then gives him the reason why she feels like she does. Joan reveals that got into drugs when she was very young along with her boyfriend who was an addict. He ended up dying because of it. She had
begged him to get help but he kept going back. She said her coach changed her life by getting her into sports after that and gave her another chance at life. Joan later apologized to Marcus and she convinced him to fight his habit so that he can spend time with his son David.
Sophie arrives home to visit with her dad. Kevin has given up trying to get his legs moving and has removed himself from everyone, including his family. Kevin tells Jackie that General Fleming called to confirm his lack of progress. The Army wants to replace his position with someone else if he doesn't improve. He ends up letting his anger out on Sophie. Jackie is mad this time, telling her husband that she is used to his anger but their daughter isn't. Sophie finally realizes what her mother has been through after hearing her parents arguing. This brings the two of them closer than ever. It was nice to see Jackie having that kind of support.
After another negative pregnancy test, Nicole suggests that her and Charlie consider adoption instead. Charlie is not about to give up carrying their child. She is so obsessed with it that she had bought fertility tea off the internet and ended up in the ER with an allergic reaction to it. She decides that maybe Nicole is right.
Gloria is back! She missed everyone so much that she is ready and excited to get her job back at the bar. Unfortunately, Roxy had to break the news to her that she is selling and they will be moving. Roxy has an idea for the buyer to hire Gloria as a manager however, he refuses. He will keep her as a waitress and he promised Roxy that he will also keep chef on as well. Roxy later tells him that she will not be selling to him after all. She then asks Gloria to manage the place for her until she can figure something else out. What will Trevor say to this?
While Denise and Frank are out, they spot Michael having dinner with a female. They seem to look quite cozy. Denise wants Frank to talk to him right away since they are best friends. The show ends with Michael about ready to tell Frank about it.
In two weeks is the season finale of Army Wives. It looks like Claudia Joy is back home. She was really missed these past few weeks. Is Michael really having an affair or is it something completely different? Hopefully there is not trouble in paradise. The Holden's are one of the best couples on the show. What do you think?
