Robert Pattinson is grateful for the support his fans showed during and after the news of Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal. Now he's thanking his 'Team Rob' supporters.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, Rob said in a recent interview that in spite of the pain that racked his heart and soul after learning Kristen cheated on him with Rupert Sanders, he always felt the love of his fans.
He doesn't credit his own charisma for their support, however, giving it up to the whole Twilight franchise instead.
"I don't credit that to myself," Rob says. "It's just that there is something elemental about the 'Twilight' books and the movies. The core story has connected to people. The fan love from that is kind of amazing. I guess it's so much better than everyone hating you."
Not only is Robert Pattinson grateful--he's modest as well. Does Kristen Stewart have any idea what she was potentially giving up when she cheated on Rob?
She likely knows now, and hopefully one day will convince him to give her another chance. And regardless of the love and support Rob gets from his Twilight fans, this is no doubt what he truly needs.
Can Kristen Stewart convince Rob that if he takes her back she'll never cheat again? Therein lies the biggest issue of all.

My guess is that due to the repetitive nature of the jaunts, it may be difficult to justify the "temporary lapse of judgement defense" in this situation.
