Sensual Explosion

...this breathless entanglement
a honeygripped confusion
of feelings slowly
surfacing
with a fragrance held profusion
petals falling at tender touch
never sensing, never such
experience before
the tides that lift in frothing surf
then settle, promise more
and life goes on
to tune
of whispers heard
and smiles
in hopes and dreams
become words written
across the sky
sparkling in rays and beams
the faceted vision shines
and hopes abound
do shadows sound
for from them
symphonies explode
the maestro lifts
delicate baton
and this symphony
of love goes on
a whispered air
is heard
and to the tune
the honey drips
in amber
and
the taste of you

I never thought of the placement of pictures in poetry, but that worked beautifully. I read it a couple of times and figured out that, had you put the picture at the end, it just wouldn't have worked for me.
Thanks for posting to the Wall of Fireworks on The Triple Name Club where it's now featured.
You are so far above your appreciation of yourself. I watch all that you contribute here on Gather in the way of your own gifts and think to myself If you only realized!
Thanks for sharing your waves of ecstasy with Gather's Luminous Writers and Artists.
Loveliness on many levels here...
I love this and feel it now.
