Chris Paul has turned the LA Clippers into a playoff team, but the 28-year-old point guard is entering the last year on his current contract, and this could be his last season on the West Coast.
The 2013 NBA free agent class has a terrific group of talented players, but Paul is likely the guy that will command the most attention, and he hasn't ruled out moving back to the East Coast where he grew up and played his college ball.
Daniel O'Brien of Bleacher Report has hinted that the NY Knicks will make a move for the All-Star, especially after losing Jeremy Lin this summer to the Houston Rockets, but the LA Clippers will make every effort to keep "Lob City" alive and well, and a bidding war could take place.
Paul recently turned down a three-year, $60 million contract extension from the team, and that has led many NBA experts to believe he is looking to move next summer, but the LA Clippers could add more talent around the talented guard, and that, coupled with a larger contract offer, could keep him in Los Angeles, but it's still early and lots can happen over the next few months.
