British Cannibal Gets Lap-Band Surgery on Taxpayers' Dime

A 320-pound British cannibal received free weight-loss surgery through the United Kingdom's medical system, an inspiration for Obamacare.

Graham Fisher, who butchered two women in cold blood, has really packed on the pounds since being jailed. Don't you feel sorry for him? Imagine, all the fat jokes he has to endure from his cell block pals.

Apparently, life behind bars is pretty boring, so there is nothing for Graham to do, except sit in his cell and scarf down potato chips and cake.

Why don't prison officials just cut the junk food out of his diet? It's absurd that British taxpayers will have to fork over thousands of dollars so this psychopath can lose weight! Of course, if the United Kingdom hadn't abolished the death penalty, none of this would even be an issue.

Fisher, 39, is in prison for the murders of Clare Letchford and 75-year-old Beryl O'Connor. He also cannibalized some of Letchford's flesh.

Fisher was placed on a National Healthcare Service waiting list for three months. And last week, he was transported to a private facility for a gastric band procedure. The convicted cannibal will recuperate in a private suite for several days, and the total cost is roughly twenty-three thousand dollars.
